Hi all,<br>I'm new here, although I did meet some of you in the chat room last night after Beck invited me to join you all earlier in the day. I have just had my second ivf. My first ivf failed in March this year. The second one has just been abandoned after egg collection as I was at risk of OHSS. So I've now got 15 embryos in the freezer and am waiting for my ovaries to settle before starting an FET. I look forward to getting to know you all,<br>Love Laura

Hello Laura,<br><br>Welcome - 15 frosties - fantastic. It only takes one remember. How many follicles did they collect, for your cycle to be abandoned. Also do you have polycystic ovaries? <br><br>I have recently been though IVF which (fingers crossed) has worked and am due for a scan 14th Novemeber. I had 31 follicles collected and am sure that I was a candidate for OHSS but no-one mentioned canceling. <br><br>Lots of love<br>Charmaine<br>x<br>

Hi Charmaine,<br>I had 22 eggs collected and my ovaries were very enlarged, so they wouldn't do an embryo transfer then. I did end up having blood tests and scans and had to rest for a week as fluid developed around the ovaries and I had mild OHSS. If I had achieved pregnancy with an embryo transfer it could have been a lot more serious apparently. I think that some people don't get OHSS even with large numbers collected, so your clinic obviously thought you were OK. I don't have PCOS, my history is of endo. They put me on a higher dosage of drugs this time and I responded much better than last time. Congratulations on your result and good luck for your scan.<br>Love Laura

Hi,<br>Am new in here.On the 2ww wait-testing on 28 th.<br>Seems like it is almost with Deborah and Beck.Nice to have some company!!!!!<br>It's my 3 rd IVF try-so keeping everything crossed.<br>Will wait for the 8 p.m. chat.<br>Bye.
