would love to join you

i am 5 1/2 weeks i think! had 3 day et on 28th feb and +ve test on 14th march so am not far infront of you. Its very scary isnt it? I have been a right worrier but am getting calmer day by day now.

Im having my first scan on the 4th April and have today got my blood result back ( i had to beg the doctor to do it though!) My blood was 817 which for day 15 after transfer is good i think.

What about you when's your scan? Do your clinic do bloods?

hi Kim,

I asked for a blood test but I was refused, pregnant is pregnant my nurse told me.

first scan is on 12th April. It could be a bit earlier, they suggested 6.4 but I want to be sure that I see the heart beating!!!

if everything goes according plan... when will your baby(S) be born???

hi alette,

my clinic wouldnt give blood test but my went to my gp and he agreed to do it to put my mind at rest. it took a week for the result by which time id relaxed and it had started to sink in that i actually was pregnant!!

How many weeks will you be at your scan? i think i will be 7 w 3 d . i worked my dates on the pregnancy calendar on this site and my due date is the 18 november, what about you?

im getting really tired and have really sore boobs nearly all the time now no m/s yet thankfully!

I cant wait for my scan just to make it all real.

Congratulations to you too (already said that to Alette!!) and welcome to the 'Other Side'. its always lovely to see the girls constantly coming over here....... You are right to be excited about your scan - I can't blame you. It really is something else when you finally see that/those little baby/babies in there. Both me and DH welled up when we saw the second one! We already knew we were pregnant but...............

CONGRATULATIONS once again!!

I will be following your progress!!!!

Massive congratulations to you. Remember we cycled together in December, I'm jsut so thrilled that things have worked out for you this time.

Welcome and congratulations on your BFP!!! I'm sure you're over the moon right now. It only gets better from here =) Seeing the heart beat for the first time is such an incredible moment. April 12th will be here before you know it!

pregnant too, I remember!! we were worried about you!! that your embryo would not survive untill transfer!!

Kappy, I do not know you but so nice of you for your congratulations..
Actually, I am not over the mon... and I hope you are right...that it really gets better from here...

I am scared to death.
Miscarried at 10 weeks one and a half year ago, and my second ivf was a BFP too but a very early mc followed. I am very cautious!!
After I have seen the heart.. I will let go of all my worries and try to enjoy this pregnancy!

12/4, I will be exactly 7 weeks and 6 days then, for sure there must be a heartbeat then! (this is why I asked for a rather late scan, just to be sure to be able to see the heart beat).

my date will be 23 November.

Alette,

I am SO thrilled for you and pray that everything goes well. We cycled together once. Maybe last June or August? So I'm really glad that this cycle is going well. I was also so afraid after my first IVF miscarriage. I had a lot of bleeding early in this pregnancy, and several times was convinced it was all over. But fingers crossed - we are expecting twin boys on April 25.

How are you feeling? Are you big by now? Everything under control? Room in order for the boys? This must be a big organizing for you and your husband... two boys!!! Great!! I so hope everything will be okay!

Hi Alette

Congratulations!!! I am SOO pleased for you. There is a 1st trimester thread on this board which is really useful as although some of the girls are a fair bit ahead of me they will help you with any worries or questions you may have. My EDD is 26th Oct, but as its twins have been told 37weeks is term, so i guess beginning of Oct.
I found the weeks waiting for my 1st scan torture! and then was ok for the next week and a half, then I started worrying all over again before the one I had yesterday. So I guess I will be ok for another week, then the whole process will start up again!!!
Just try to think positive and take it as easy as possible!!!
