Hello girls :D !
Everyone seems to do well and I can feel the postives thoughts through all of your emails!

I am myself quite excited as I have started my treatment a couple of hours ago.
I am on Gonal-f, 1 injection in my BUTTOCKS every evening. The difficult part is that I have to find a nurse to do it now!!

I have an appointment on the 28th for blood test and scan, and the Ec is planned for the 4th of April, ET on the 7th! :P

A lot of kisses to all of you girls and good luck!

Take care

We are all on our way now! I can't believe it! :P

I am sure we will all have our ups and downs- especially with all these meds/hormones running through our bodies.

When you get down just remember the end result and when you feel good - share it with others

Debra .. I just seem to be working, working and working. Year End coming up next week already !! Why do they stick Easter in at such a bad time ? Re tmt, I don't start downreg until 5 April, so am counting the days...

I hope that cold / flu of yours improves soon. No fun, eh ? Especially with the sleepless nights too. Don't ever feel awkward on my account re mentioning your little bundle of joy - and I'm sure others feel the same.

Hope you feel better soon

Gosh so much happens in just a week - lots of reading to catch up on and hellos to new people,as well as lots of the usual PMA.
I'm still sat here waiting for the next move and feeling very impatient but its great to read how you guys are doing and keeps me looking forward. Here's counting towards my 7th April appt - do you think they'll put me on injections then? My projected EC day is 9th May.
Just a quick note today but i wanted to say to Debra, hang on in there, the hormones will clear and don't ever not write about your daughter. Its great to hear about successful outcomes from an understanding person and i'm sure she's an absolute cherub!
take care all

Hi Eskavon

Good luck with the appointment - not long to wait now :!: Stay positive. I don't know about going straight into the injections - are you on a long or short cycle :?:

Debra, like Eskavon said, never feel bad about mentioning your daughter - she gives us all hope that success is possible :!: :D

Keep smiling

Eskavon - hoping to start my next treatment very soon - will find out more tomorrow I hope :!:

As far as I can tell there are many different ways that clinics organise their cycles. However, I was on a long cycle and I did go straight into injections - so maybe you are not far away :!: :D

Keep full of PMA

Hi....

Eskavon. My clinic don't use injections until the stims (ie. 2nd) stage. I always start on inhaling/sniffing Synarela for several weeks first. It all depends on which drugs your particular clinic use.

I don't mention DD as she has no relevance to our current trials and tribulations whilst cycling. She is however living proof of 1st time luck. We just never imagined trying again would take so long or be so difficult.

Sand. The beginning of April is next week....you'll be starting before you know it!

Souris. Looks like we'll both have EC on 4th! I think Donna will too.

Debra.
Me: 44, DH: 31
Game Over.
Dates: Aug 02 - May 06
Tries: 5 fresh + 4 frozen.
Results: 1 daughter, 2 m/c, 1 ectopic.

Hi girls,
How are we all doing?
I've started to get some side effects of the Prostap, they started on Tuesday night. I went a walk to the corner shop and while in there i started to get a hot flush, was fine when i went back outside but started again when i got in the house, at first i thought maybe it was going from the cold to the warm as it was only day 2 of downregging but i was so hot and yucky i went to turn the heating down only to find it was already off. And yesterday at work i kept getting them on and off all day, had to keep going to the shop door to get some fresh air. The hot flushes are the only side effects i've had so far, but it is only day 4. Michael told me last night that seeing as some side effects have already started he's going to pack my bags and move me to my mothers before the mood swings start, lol. So sympathetic, lol.

Sand - not long now til you start, you start on the same day i have my next appointment to get my scan and start on stims. The time is really flying by now.

Debra - hope you're feeling much better now, i've had my cold for about 3 weeks now, i'm feeling better but just can't get rid of this cough it's so annoying. I'm with everyone else, please don't not talk about your daughter just to save our feelings, she is living proof that this treatment does work and it gives us all hope.

Souris - good job on starting yesterday, it really feels like we are getting somewhere now doesn't it, all the waiting about seems like an age away now.

Tracii - i'm not on the same drugs as you but the nurse told me that when you get your period while downregging it can be heavier and last longer than usual, mine is due on Monday and if that's the case then i'm not looking forward to it.

Jules - haven't seen you here for a while, how are you doing?

Hi to everyone else, hope you are all fine.
Take care and talk to you all soon,
Lotsa love

Michelle

Hi Michelle,

I have had some hot flashes too - but at the beginning of downregging...now I am just tired, tired, tired (I actually slept through the night last night - which I never, ever do). Also big headaches are coming and going. And AF well...this is something like never before! (if you are at work - bring lots of supplies with you!) - but really these are just small complaints.

I hope everyone is doing well and thanks everyone for being there..since DH is not home this week it makes it easier to have sympathetic ears and to share the experience.

Spring baby dust to all!

Hi Lisa ... Welcome to the thread

Michelle ... you poor thing. I've never experienced any hot flushes with any of the medi (maybe I shouldn't have said that ... touch wood for next time) and it sounds horrible. I hope it passes... maybe when AF starts Mon your reaction will change ..?

Just wanted to wish all you girlies luck and loads of PMA and baby dust........I had to smile   not funn y really but having been through early menopause I know all about hot flushes ..they are awful, especially in the winter, you get all kitted out for the cold and then (usually in a public place) you feel like you need to take all your clothes off and have a cold shower - it's like being caught on a tropical beach in thermal undies.....I do now have sympathy with my mum.."dress in lots of layers dear.."..she was right..she was also right about big knickers being more comfortable......

We'll be on a late April/May cycle, but 'll keep up with you all for inspiration!!!

There that's my 100th post..wanted it to be cheerful
