bens been in hospital

what a mad few days took ben to out of hours tues night gave me antibiotics and drops for eyes cause he has had a cold he had a temp of 39.5 and doc sent us home he was horrible
went back next night as he was vilotly sick jerking and roasting and they kept him in, doctors did not no why he had been given the med he had and why he had been sent home the med he was given was for chest and there is nothing wrong with his cheast
he has had flu and it has turned into a bacterial infection of nose eyes ears head etc he is really ill
we have come home now on home hospital nurse comes morning and night to check on him and i have a pager

i am fuming with that other stupid doc

Oh Diane, I'm so sorry to hear that Ben's been unwell. I hope that he's fully recovered soon. It must have been so scary for you and I can understand your frustration at the doctor.

Oh poor little Ben, you must have been so worried. Let's hope he gets better very quickly and is back to his normal self again before you know it.

I am so sorry to hear that Ben has been in hospital, how does he seem this evening? That is so bad of that doctor, makes you wonder sometimes what the world is coming to, if you can't trust a doctor who can you trust. I am just a phone call away if you want to chat you have my number.

Oh Diane what a horrid time for you and little Ben!

It's so awful when they're ill, you'd give anything to swap places wouldn't you.

It makes my blood boil that you have such totally inept healthcare professionals, and quite often you know more than they do!

Fortunately Ben is getting the right care and attention, as well as love from you so hopefully he's back on track now.

Sorry to hear you've had such a rough ride of late - I hope the wee man is feeling a lot better now. Flaming doctors - there's no in between with them - they are either great or completely rubbish, it seems to be the luck of the draw.

thanks for your lovley messages

ben was rushed back in last sat afternoon when nurse came cause his legs swelled up anyway got sent home it was cause of temp
he has been very ill but is a lot better last few days got disgarged on monday evening by home hospital told me he has had a very nasty infection and it wil take time for him to recover at least 2 weeks

seems a lot happier now started eating again is tired easy though
