Hi all
Thought another string was called for as the October one worked so well.
Just wondered how many of us would be going for E/C or E/T over the next few weeks ?? Bibby, think you are about this time as well ?

I'm down for E/C on the 28th and E/T on the 30th. So far I have 14 follies of varying sizes...is this good ??
Thank God for this site, it's saving my sanity
Love & hugs to all
Terri
xxxx

[Edited by tshepher on 22-Oct-02 13:32]
Hi there Terry
I am due for et on 1st November but waiting to see results from pending scans as to the depth of my lining (too much information!!!!). I have already done the first cycle which unfortunately didn't work so am doing a natural cycle this month.
Hope you are feeling okay and not too hormonal?
lol
Melissa
x
Lissa
So sorry to hear that your first time didn't work but here's hoping for go number 2 .
Does a natural cycle mean that there's no drugs involved for you?
Fingers crossed for the 1st
Good Luck
Terri
xx
Hi Terri

14 follicles is good but if you have until 28th till e/c then you may have more be then, the more follicles the better as more eggs will be available to fert. GOOD LUCK for e/c.

On 29th I will know if I am pregger's as on 2ww now.

THINKING OF EVERYBODY OUT THERE GOING THROUGH IVF.

Love Debsx
Hi Terry and Debs

I am not sure about the drug side, I really hope that there won't be but will have to wait until nearer the time.
Glad to hear you are doing so well - as Debs said hopefully you will produce lots more follies by EC. Good luck with that.
Debs how is the 2ww treating you - hope you doing lots of relaxing if that's possible. Fingers crossed for the 29th!
lol
Mel
x
Hi Terri - I'm reckoning on being a November 2wwer too. I'm going for an initial scan on Monday and am hoping they'll let me start injecting then as I'll have been sniffing for a fortnight. If so, based on previous times, I expect I'll have e/c the weekend of 9/10 November, and, all being well, e/t 2-3 days later. But I'm not cancelling anything or booking any time off work just yet as last time I had it all worked out and all the dates ended up being nearly a week later than I'd thought!

I think Becky and Michelle are on a similar timetable to us.

Alison
Hi Girls
Terri- great idea to star this for November.
I think I am a little behind most of you. I am on day 7 of DR - no side effects so far luckily (though I'm not counting my chickens quite yet)! For some reason my hospital have told me to DR for 3 weeks before going in for a scan - they say this is their normal procedure, but reading all your posts you seem to be doing it for 2 (although I think Becky said she did dr for 3 weeks). So if all goes according to plan I will have e/c 18th Nov and e/t hopefully a couple of days later - around the 20th Nov (my birthday can you believe it!)...I wish the whole process was quicker this is driving me nuts already and I'm not even in the 2ww! Have booked a week and a half off work from the 18th Nov - though they are pretty flexible and I can change if I am delayed at all.
Sending you all lots of love.
Michelle x
Hi

This is my 1st attempt on IVF, the nasal sprays were not too bad the injections hurt but it was to be expected.
My 2ww I have had slight lower back aches and a swollen bloated stomach, I look like I am 3 months pregg now!!!!. Hospital said most likely be my overies still swollen after ec and et.
Doing lots of relaxing off work for full 2 weeks but toally bored out of my head!!!
FINGERS, ARMS, TOES AND LEGS CROSSED FOR US ALL
Love Debsx
hi everyone, i have been trying to follow all of your stories and have everything crossed for you. i have et on nov 5th but i only have an eight day wait because they are frozen embryos that are already day six.
good luck to you all

tanya
Thanks All
Have another scan tonight so we'll see if the follies have increased in number. Does anyone know if it's usual to get a sort of cramping in your tummy/groin area. Couldn't really call it a great pain but more of a stabby, stitch like pain when I walk. Suppose it's hardly surprising when you think what's going on in there but just thought I'd ask.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL SNIFFERS, STABBERS and WAITERS.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Terri.

[Edited by tshepher on 23-Oct-02 08:32]
Dear All
I am new to this site but have been reading all you messages with compassion. I am on a 2ww for the 1st time. My husband has low sperm count and motility so hence IVF. I had my ET on 17/10 and test is 30th. Debs, I think you are the day before me.
I am really worried at the moment as I am on day 7 of 2ww and have been getting period like pains and have a sort of discharge - sorry to be so graphic. I am really tempted to try a test and see but my husband doesn't want me to and the hospital said not too, but this 2ww is really getting to me. I am off work so it is nice to be able to relax. I also have a swollen tummy and feel slightly nauseous but I think that is to do with the drugs and after the e/c and e/t.
Has anyone else had period like pains?
Good luck everybody and look forward to talking to you.
Louise
hi louise.
im on day 6 2ww and im having big time af pains...........but like you said we shouldnt really test as it wont give you a good result!!
so your not alone....
im off to and its doing my head in.
where are you being treated??
maybe we can arrange a chat during the day for the 2ww'ers as i get bored stiff at home.
yes debs does test the same day as you and im the 1st nov.....so we are very close cycle buddies.
keep intouch
beckxx
Hi Beck
Thanks for your reply - it's horrible having the pains isn't it. I have taken some pain killers to try and forget about them, but every time I go to the toilet, I am really worried. Somebody mentioned about implantation pains - I hope so. It is comforting to know that there are 3 of us with very similar cycles - it would be good to have a chat during the day with. We are being treated at Oxford - they are really good and the staff are very supportive. What about you?
Take care and pamper yourself - lets keep everything crossed.
Lots of love
Louise
hey louise,

god know was really going on inside right now!!
as for the chat........we are all meeting tomorrow at 8pm most of the girls are in 2ww so you are more than welcome to join us....
if you want to chat before state a time and ill be there and im sure a few others will join in as most of us are off at the mo.
hugs beckxxx
