Hello all & Happy Easter!!!
:P Went camping in Dartmoor for 3 nights, just come back today, had a lovely time with DH and the dog.....the weather was fine apart from the nights...it was freezing but really enjoyable and relaxing.
Started injecting buserelin on thursday night, for the first time in a tent...nearly in the dark, i was pooing  myself and nearly didn't do it....but my DH was strong and put some sense back into my head....and i was pleasently surprised...it isn't painfull, it's fine.
Tonight will be my 4th night of injections, finish taking the pill last night so waitnig for AF and to make appointment at the clinic to have another pelvic scan and go ahead with puregon.

Back to work on wednesday and hope to finish work for 6 weeks to relax and carry on with treatment.
Any side effects of buserelin? i feel a bit a discomfort around ovaries area ...anything else i need to know?
Any side effectt with puregon?
Thank for all your help and support.
Luv
Delly

I am on buserelin - injecting since 18th march now!! Have a rash - itchy on my hand today and I have also felt slight ovarie discomfort. Don't know about puregon as last time I was on menopur (gonal F this time).

Well done on injecting it is not an easy thing :!: :!: Enjoy the rest of your time of work

Well, everyone, just a little update on me... I finally started my lupron 4 days ago. I certainly madea bigger thing out of it than it really is. The lupron is a breeze (the injections that is).
I have noticed a few side effects, namely, fatigue, forgetfulness, and hot flashes. But it certainly is all worth it, isn't it?
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well, and keeping their spirits high!

Hi, just thought I would check in here, though I am getting confused now!(doesn't take much) Lol!

I am following the May Buddies, but also following this one, not really sure whats going on with every one. Due to start iui in may, thats why i thought may buddies was best but also having consultation on 15th april, so does that make me this group or may group? Af is due on 1st may but equally it may come on 30th april.........

Oh well, I wish u all luck anyway!

Jules thanks for updating the list!

Now on day 3 of Puregon - although I know the shot doesn't hurt - I still get a bit anxious. I am not sure if these are all side effects of the Puregon but it feels like my tummy is always full and have had horrendous headaches (which could be caffeine withdrawal!). All in all I am trying to take it easy - no aerobic activity, no caffeine, no alcohol, a few moments of visualization....DH actually says I am much calmer/relaxed on all the meds

As luck would have it - I was offered a fantastic job on Friday (came out of the blue), but turned it down. There is no way I can not focus on myself (and DH) and the IVF cycle. My priorities in life have definitely changed - 2 years ago I would always put my career first - when the offer came on Friday I did not even need to think twice.

Hi Josie, welcome

There is this thread and also a May thread, you might like to pop in there too. My dh had a vasectomy too, and we had it reversed which was successful, but he has antibodies to the sperm and they have to be treated before insemination.

Not sure where I belong but posting here too, will know more after visit to Barcelona 14th April they say ET 4-6 weeks after first visit......the waiting is killing me!

Love to you all with your stimming and down -regging..

Hi Nicola .... This thread was started with the intention it would be just a Roll Call - so that everyone could easily see which stage everyone was at with their treatment.

It's become a little confusing though, as other messages are being posted here too. So don't worry, it's not you going dotty. I'd say stick with the May buddies for general chit chat, and post any updates in your tmt here (date for downreg, date for stims, EC/ET etc) here, then Julie can update the Roll Call.

Hi Delly ... You'll probably stim for around 10 days. ... Obv. it depends on the sizes of your follies, but around that timescale... then EC will be a couple of days later. You probably won't get to know the date of EC until a couple of days beforehand, when they know you're actually ready.

You're at the more exciting part now, where things start happening ..!
