cramps after transfer

Hello,
I am new to this board. I am wondering if anyone had cramps three days after transfer. I keep wonderign what this means? Also how long after transfer did you take a test?

Hi There,

When I had ET I had period pains I did test early and I got a negative result but then when I tested on day 14 which was teh correct date I got a positive and now blessed with a 13 month old boy. The cramps are normal just think of everything your body has been through lately.

Hi and welcome. The cramps are pretty normal. The 2ww can be filled with all kinds of odd twinges, pains, sore boobs, ovarian cramps etc. all of which cause people to worry. On the otherhand it can be completely twinge free - and in turn that causes those people to worry! What we've found between us is that there is no 'correct' 2ww. It seems to make no difference to the result.

If you let me know your test date I'll add you to the test threads over on the General Forum. In fact, you might want to come over there anyway as there are others on the 2ww too.

Hi KG

I am on day 3 of my 2ww and am suffering low stomach cramp (woke me up at 3.00am this morning).

Unfortunately, no-one can tell you whether it is a good or bad sign at this stage. All you can do is stay positive, stress free and avoid any pain relief medication.

Hello, I am a first timer here. I had my transfer( I am ann egg recipient) on March 23(day 5 blastocyst)...I was fine, so careful for days, but today I had to lift my son a few times(a successful ivf baby)...after liftiing him, I had pain and am still having pain or maybe cramping I am unsure. I am unsure if this is a coincidence or if I just ruined everything. I am scared. I am being tested in 3 more days for pregnacy, just so scared. Thanks for listening.

Hi Kerry ..... Welcome to the site. I can understand why you are worried, but pls - do try to stay (get !) in a positive frame of mind. Everyone always spends the whole 2 weeks worrying about every movement they make, every twinge ...

There is nothing you can do to turn the clock back, so you might as well put it to the back of your mind. I know it's easy for me to say that.

You haven't got too much longer to go. You say you test in 3 days - so that's 1 April. If you'd like your date to be added to the Test Date thread on the General Forum just say so, and Debra will add your name.

Hi guys and thanks for e-listening. It is so hard to talk to people who do not get it and I am glad I found this site. I am actually going for blood work this Thursday, March 31st and they will check my HCG and see if I am pregnant. I am doing my best to relax but is all but impossible. Thanks for thinking of me.
