Hi Delly, I am planned to be on Puregon from 7 to 11 days...it all depends on my ultrasound on Friday (day 7)...if the follicles are looking good on Friday maybe I will have EC on Sunday (need 40 hours after HCG shot)...but most likely on Monday or Tuesday (day 10 or 11 of Puregon). What is your dosage? I do 1 injection every morning of 150ie.

Delly, I started Puregon on 22nd (300IE a day), I've got my follicle scan tomorrow morning and then, just like Traci, I'll find out how many/what size they are and be given a day for EC next week (assuming there are some follies of course). I expect to be on Puregon for maybe 13-14 days in total.

Hi all, wondered if I could join this thread too. I have my consulation (for my first IVF i think) on 12th April. It's all very confusing so i'd be grateful for some support! not sure when I will start - i think end of april.

Welcome Kagome ...no worries about the injections - the thought is much, much, much worse then the actual injection (I feel like an old pro after only 6 days)

Hi Kagome .. Welcome....

Julie will add your start date to the roll call list on this thread. That's so we can track where everyone in treatment is currently up to.

If you haven't already done so, why don't you join the March/April thread. That's where folk in treatment during those months support each other. (You're just one day behind me, I start downreg on 5th!)

I wont have to down reg or inject this time as I am on HRT and using donor eggs...but my donor angel will be going through this process...sorry ladies, having a bad night, my sisters SIL gave birth yesterday and I've been brave and nice and sent e-card etc and now paying the price..

Hi BigJ, It is tough isn't it when others are having babies? Seriously everyone around me is pregnant - and then to top it off DHs best friend's wife gets preggers and 'isn't even trying'. I try to be happy for them all - sometimes it gets hard....but we are on our way to have our bundle of joy

It's really annoying when people say "we weren't trying" or "by accident" - from my experience how can you have an accident, it doesn't happen that way

Looks like EC on Monday or Tuesday (only 5 follicles found - DR thinks Purogen dose was too low)...they need to check my LH level which I will know more at 1:00. Cycle could be in jeopardy because LH wants to surge...trying to stay positive.

Thanks BigJ - yeah I am pretty disappointed but it is the 1st IVF and the docs don't know how my body will react. Let's just hope the 5 follies are producing good quality eggs! We shall see....and keep trying.
