Hi Loobyloo ... I'm sorry to hear your news this morning as I know how upset you'll be feeling, but it doesn't necessarily mean bad news.

On my last cycle I was the same - bleeding started day before test day - and although I was finally a -ve, my hospital were adamant that it could still be +ve. Girls do bleed, then go on to get bfps. As Caroline says, it's not over yet.

Am off for a nice soak in the tub to pass an hour! Bleeding seems to tailing off for now, am trying not to think about it. I think for me, today will be the longestday of the 2ww.

at least with both of us testing at home, we wont have to wait all day for the results! Am up at 6am for work so post as soon as i get to work.

Catch you all later

Hi Lobbylou and Caroline, thinking of you here in sunny Germany 8) .

like Sand I did bleed before test day, but it was full AF flow so I did a hpt no mucking about so there was no doubt  . I am sure there are some girls who have bled a bit then had +ves on this site, dischrge seems to be quite common

just keep the PMA going one more day and be nice to yourself, and nice gentle walk in the fresh air always helps and a big hug with dh can't be beaten  we are here for you sweetie

Love and kisses and hugs bigJ

:( :(

Try to stay positive - as the others have already said, it's not over yet - there have been girls who have gone on to be +ve.

Loads of PMA coming over and virtual hugs - hope that today brings you more comfort.

Bleeding stopped by lunchtime, nothing since, so am feeling a bit more positive, trying to convince myself that it was implantation bleeding and nothing else.

Have had a very lazy day, playing on the computer, watching telly etc.

Hope things are still going well for you Caroline, will check in again later tonight o catch up with you

Not much changes here - I do not expect to knowing anything until I do a test in the morning.

Loobyloo

I will be testing at around 7.00am and will log in with my result before I leave for work. It would be great to know your result in the morning, although I will not be able to log in at work during the day, I dont think I could concentrate not knowing how you faired.

I will be out for the rest of the evening, DH thought it would be 'nice' to visit his parents to occupy my mind - don't you just luv them!

I wish you the very best of luck and a buckets of baby dust - one more sleep and we are there!

:D

its 9pm on day 13 and I am a nervous wreck. Am suddenly wandering round the house doing bits of cleaning here and there to keep busy.

Good luck tomorrow Caroline. If I havent posted when you get on here in the morning then its not good news and I couldn't face it, but will check to see your results later in the day.

Am actually relieved that it will be over one way or another, this has been such a rollercoaster of a week. I know I will be devastated if it hasn't but it will be a relief to get back to normal, if you know what I mean.

Thanks for all the supporting posts. all down to one little ole pee stick now.

Catch you all tomorrow. Caroline, have my fingers and toes crossed for both us - good luck!!!

My test was negative. Am strangely calm, just relieved that the wait is over. Will test again on weds if no AF but deep inside I know that it hasnt worked.

Caroline, hoped you fared better than me and if so, good luck!

Thanks for all the support this week, you'll never know just how much I appreciated it.

Hi Loobyloo

I am so sorry, it is so disappointing for you and yet a relief you know the answer.

I tested postitive this morning, I am feel strangeley calm as I know this is the first hurdle of many you have to jump before becoming parents at such advanced ages!

On the other hand DH is trying to co-ordinate his morning activities (shaving, coffee, morning news updates) through his tears. Glad I am not getting in the car with him this morning!

Take care of yourself, as your 'twin' I share your current pain and my thoughts are with you today and always.

All contributors to this thread:-
Thank you all for your support and wise words during this time. I don't know the answer to why we get positive/negative results, what I do know is that your contributions are invaulable during the journey.

Thank you
