Hi Charmaine,

Wasn't able to get on site earlier as 'rain stopped play' as you might say - our internet access is from our Cambridge site who had a power failure with the bad weather - just back up now - very frustrating!

Today's blood test hCG levels came back at 582. Next test is Weds morn and the results should be known about 1:30-ish that day. If it has risen, there is some hope at least.

I've just about stopped bleeding now - there's not been much and its been old stuff, the scan this morning showed the lining had thickened, but they said again it is too early to see anything else properly.

The worst is definitely the feeling of being in limbo. If it has failed, however devastating, you can face it and move on.

Anyway had completely lazy weekend being totally pampered by hubs, so that was nice.

Thanks for thinking of me

Love to everyone

Fiona xxxx

Hi Fiona - glad to hear things still seem to be moving in the right direction. I've got my fingers crossed for you on Wednesday - just think you could have another 34ish weeks of this worry ahead of you (followed by another 18 years!)

Make sure your dh keeps on pampering you!

Love

Alison

Hi Alison and Woppa,

Thanks for your kind words - I wish I could say that I've been so busy at work with the build up of e-mail not being able to get through on Monday. But I just can't get away from dwelling on how I'll feel tomorrow - I'm getting a bit stressed out about it all even though I know this is the last thing I should do, especially as there is still some hope.

Woppa - I hope you're feeling better than you were at the weekeend and that you've stopped bleeding once again - it seems bizarre we are going through the same symptoms so closely. The nurse said its not 'run of the mill' but I was reading some postings on the old site, and we're certainly not the only ones affected this way - and Charmaine, you really help to hold onto that hope - think I'd be going bonkers otherwise.

I don't usually log on evenings and weekends on strict instructions from my optician - I spend over 8hrs a day at a PC, and its not good for my 'dry' eyes. But I'll try to keep making an exception for the chats although I should be sensible and limit the time I'm on - its a bummer this 'getting old'!

Oh well, just under 24 hours to go before I'll know if its over or there is still a chance of getting to the 'other side' for this cycle.....God, don't we wish our life away doing this!

Good Luck to everyone else

Lots of Love

Fiona xxx

[Edited by fiona_lk on 29-Oct-02 12:59]
