Testing April 5th

Post by hopefullyexpecting »

Hi!!! I'm new to the board. This is my 3rd 2ww. I have a son from a FET, but nothing from the first fresh one that I did. I just discovered this board. It's great!!!!

I sometimes think that it is better to do a frozen cycle because your body isn't as over-stimulated and on the defensive from the hormones and process of retrieving eggs. This time I felt cramps from each entry within my uterus-- mock transfer, retrieval, transfer. I remember the FET as relatively painless. Unfortunately, this time I didn't have enough eggs to freeze. I am just hoping that this cycle takes because it is my last. Now I am cramp free so I don't know what to think.

Just wanted to get that off my chest. Thanks! :?

Hi there Hopefullyexpecting (I think we'll have to shorten that ..!).

Welcome to the site.... You'll soon find this board your lifeline ! Where are you up to in your 2ww ? If you give Debra your test date, she'll add your name to the list so everyone can cheer you on ..

It's good to hear you've had a successful FET. Proves it can and does work !! As we've said many, many times before - the symptoms don't seem to mean anything. Some with symptoms get BFPs, some don't. Some without any symptoms go on to get BFPs, others don't.... It could do your head in...

Anyway ... lots of PMA being sent your way !

Welcome Liz. Nice to have another good FET story on here, always helps. Good luck with the rest of your 2ww, not long to go now and as Sandra said, there seems to be no consistent 'right' feeling during a successful 2ww. Debra.

Debra, I will be with you guys for April testing. My clinic wants to do a 5 day transfer so that puts me at Sunday (10.April) for ET. Testing 24.April.

What is beta? Is there a range I should be looking for?
