Debra & Traci, of course it's ok - just you keep chatting to each other and before you know it it'll be Tuesday. Sorry to hear that you are both tired and bloated - this is all such a flattering process isn't it

Wishing you both lots of luck and ripe eggs for a good harvest.

Bye for now

I just wanted to let everyone know how nice it is to be able to come to my computer and see all of your stories and right away feel better. All of you are so sweet, for that I thank you! :)
I have been on my lupron for about two weeks now, my doc has me on it for a month before I start stimulation... Is anyone else here supressing for that long, it seems as if everyone else is for only a few weeks.
Also, since I have been on lupron, I have had quite a bit of breakthrough bleeding. My doctor said that it is a common side effect... Not comfortable to say the least!
Has anyone else had this happen?

I feel like such a first timer...

Thanks so much

Traci, I was awake but seriously woozy. It all felt warm + fuzzy! I didn't need to ask questions as they told us what was going on throughout. There was a screen for us all to watch the needle going in and aspirating each follicle, the Bio-Technician then walked next door into the lab and called out what she could see under the microscope (eg. an egg or not) before the doctor took the next one out. I was a bit sad to have missed it last time!

I'm off to bed shortly and won't have time in the morning to post. We'll all have to get up super early I suspect? Good luck tomorrow, I hope your DH gets home safely and you both get some sleep.

Jenna. I also supressed for an astounding length of time, I was on Synarela for 5.5 weeks in total - no breakthrough bleeding but A LOT of extremely bad moods and short tempers. I wish you luck!

hugs to everyone, you're all very sweet.
Debra. (BigJ, I'm funny about my name but as it's you, D is OK!!)

Hello all, :P
Hope u all getting on ok with injections, drugs, EC.....
I'm having my mid cycle scan tomorrow morning, i have experienced ovaries pains, is this normal?, been on the puregon for 5 days now.
For thoses ladies who already had the mid scan, what should i expect tomorrow? should i see foliculles? might sound stupid, i know my body is working with thoses drugs but don't know what's going on in there......
I think i might carry on the puregon for the rest of the week and might have EC early on next week.
I'm now off for 6 weeks to relax and get trough the treatment....catching up with housework and seeing friends.
Speak soon....good luck to us all.
luv

Hi everyone, had my appt with consultant this morning. I start suprecur straight away (Sunday) for approx 3½ weeks before injections start, thankfully we have a pen-injector so we (DH) just pushes a button, holds the pen in place & don't I see the needle going in. Providional EC on 16th May & ET on 18th May.

Not sure if I should stay with this thread or join a May group?

I don't add messages very often as not a very talkative person but I do read the messages that you guys add - hope that is okay.

Hope everyone else is doing okay. :)

Hi Kagome ... You're just one day ahead of me then .. I had my first downreg today. Did you do the injection yourself ..? If so, you're much braver than I. Either way, I really think that once you've been doing them a few days, they won't bother you. Pls hang in there ... :)

Delly - I distinctly remember day 5 of stimming on last cycle. I really felt ready to burst. I hadn't felt like this until around day 7 or 8 on a previous cycle, so I was a bit worried. The nurses reassured me all was okay. My hospital don't scan until day 8, so I'm not too sure what you should expect in terms of numbers and sizes on day 5 .. 6 weeks relaxation sounds a lovely option ... make sure you don't do too much of that housework though. Update us tomorrow with your scan news !! Exciting times !!

Pauline - Glad you've seen your consultant and things are starting to move for you. I'm a little ahead of you (started downreg today), but my 2ww will spill over into May too (providing I get that far - don't want to be too presumptuous). Now you've got to know everyone, why not stay here then move over later .. It's totally up to you ..

Hello....
Well just back from clinic....11 follicules :P so far..they are pleased with my progress....have another scan on friday and monday and probably EC from next wednesday, all depends on how the follicules mattures.....
Is 11 ok? i asked if i would produce more and the nurse said it was unlikely, my body and drugs will concentrate on growing the follicules.
So need to carry on 200u of puregon til friday and then see what's next...i'm pleased, didn't know what to expect but so far all is well, even my lining is getting thicker.
Have a good day and speak soon.

Delly, 11 follicles sounds fabulous! well done. Now do lots of visualisation and picture the follicles growing and eggs developing inside. Do you have Zita West's book as she has some recommendations for diet during this period. If not, yell and I'll post some tips later. I'm sure your nurse is right but more follies often appear later so who knows? bloating and feeling tender is quite normal for me too.

Welcome Pauline. The months always spill into each other so it's up to you. Have a look at the May buddies too though as you might find some similar dates to yours, although as Sandra said, stay here too if you like it!

Debra.

Hi Delly - 11 is fantastic! :D On Debra's suggestion (Debra - you should get commission from Zita!) I also bought the Zita West book - and there is a lot of great information. Especially on what to do before/after EC and ET, diet and relaxation techniques. I highly recommend it as well.

Lots of baby dust and PMA

march, april, may cyclers

Post by marionbabe »

Hi there, i'm trying to post in the march, april, may thread, but am a bit confused about how to do it. Hope this ends up in the right place. Found this website by chance and thought I'd take a look. I've joined this site and ivfworld.com, which both offer different types of things. Basically, I want to get in touch with people planning to do ivf in the near future. Ivfworld.com's been a help to me so far as it's a real voice for patients and have found a second place to visit as well. Looking forward to talking to you and hope all our dreams come true!!!!!!!!
