Morning...just back from EC and rather woozy - excuse any typos. It went better than expected (HOORAY!) and two new follies helped the total egg count to 8.
Back tomorrow for a shot and to find out how many have made it to Day 2 then ET on Thursday at 10.30.
Another poor night's sleep so off for a nap.
Good luck Traci and looking forward to hearing how your EC went this morning.
Good luck with your eggs, hope they tranform into beautiful embryons by tomorrow...8 is a good number.Best of luck.
Been experiencing ovaries discomfort, is this normal?
I'm going for my mid cycle scan tomorrow, don't know when Ec is schedule for yet, probably find out tomorrow.
speak soon, luv
Delly
hi Delly,
I think as your ovaries produce increasing numbers of follicles and they increase in size, so me discomfort is normal. i would say though that if you are worried or unsure about anything then ring the clinic to put your mind at reast. hope you feel ok...
Debra, 8 is fabulous! while you are napping lets hope they spring into action and do their stuff! hoping for god news tomorrow.

Hi girls,
Wow, i've been away offline for a few days what with working and had some major reading to do, about 9 pages worth.
Had my appointment this morning for a scan and bloods, the Prostap injection is working, the nurse said my lining is nice and thin and i can start on stims tomorrow, I've been given Gonal F in this pen type thingy that holds 4 days worth of drugs and been told to inject it into my stomach, i am so not looking forward to that as i'm bad enough with needles in my arm, Michael is going to do it for me but said i will have to do it myself a couple of times as he's away on a 2 day course soon, i really don't know if i can do it myself, the needles look smallish but they are STILL needles. I didn't have a very good experience when getting my bloods done this morning, it really hurt and was throbbing so on the way home in the car i had a look at my arm, i didn't see just a little needle mark but an actual cut that took ages to stop bleeding, it's still quite tender just now and a lovely big bruise is now forming, now i know why i hate needles.
It seems today was quite a big day for our group, i was having my first scan and getting my stim drugs.
Sandra - you start downregging today, good luck with it.
Debra - well done on your e/c, 8 eggs is great, take it easy and good luck with e/t
Traci - good luck with your e/c, hope it went well
Now for the rest of you girls, and there's so many of you now, i'm finding it hard keeping up, lol.
Delly - good luck with your scan tomorrow
Donna - i'm sorry to hear your news, you are sounding strong, good luck with whatever you decide on next
Maci - i've also been feeling really tired and getting a lot of bad headaches over the last few days, in fact it's pounding now, i'm off to the corner shop after writing this to go get some paracetamol, hope yours gets better soon
Elle - welcome to the board, i'm sure everyone here will help you with any questions you have, feel free to post any worries, have a good old moan or just whatever you like, we are all in the same situation and totally understand.
Eskavon - good luck with your appointment on Thursday
Jules - how are you doing? are you stimming yet?
Hi to everyone i've missed, hope you are all keeping well.
Well, i'm off to the shop now.
Take care and talk to you all soon,
Lotsa love
Michelle

Hi Eskavon,
Hope u r doing ok....seems your clinic is taking time to get u started!!!
Remember we had first appointment around the same date back in february.
Well, i had 2 scans so far, been on buserelin and pill and i'm now on puregon with mid cycle scan tomorrow to see how the drugs and follicules are doing(if there's any!!!).
I should be on puregon until beginning of next week and then it'll be EC but haven't got a date yet, probably tomorrow after they see if the drugs are working properly.
I'm off work for 6 weeks to get proper rest and relaxation and going through the treatment.
Good luck on thrursday, hope they get things going for u.
Speak soon, best wishes and loads of baby dust!!!
luv Delly
Hi Girls, Just woke from my nap after EC. Unfortunately the Follicle Evil-Twin came and took 3 follicles away prior to EC. So we ended up with 3 eggs - I am thinking positive that they are very healthy and will know if all went well by 13:00 tomorrow. DH said they must have been Type A and needed to be first (and missed the entire show). We definitely had ICSI done - DH mobility was around 20% and with the low count of eggs we couldn't take any risk. A little disappointed - but it is out of my hands now and need to focus on creating a nice womb for the embies. Tonight I start Utrogest (progesterone) for the ET on Sunday.
Debra - 8 is fantastic news! I can't wait to hear how it goes for you tomorrow.
Hi Traci....3 is a whole heap - do you fancy triplets????
I have my one progesterone jab tomorrow, funny how clinics all do things differently isn't it? Will you be on Clinone pessaries afterwards for the 2ww?
Traci .. I know you were hoping for more, but don't be disappointed with your lovely 3 eggs. I'm expecting you to get good news tomorrow re fertilisation, so don't keep us in suspense.... I'm sure it will seem forever until Sunday, but hang in there..
Debra .. Well, even better than you expected - that's great news Debra. You must both be thrilled. We're all waiting to hear your news tomorrow !
Now - BOTH OF YOU, GET SOME REST

Michelle ... I'm glad you're moving on to the stimming stage. At last !! I use a needle, but from what others have said the auto injector is much simpler. I hope you get to grips with it.
Delly !! - You have unwittingly made me lol ! (hoping Debra's eggs transform into "embryons").... I hope they don't, for her sake !!
Eskavon ... Are you hoping to start downreg on Thursday ? Good luck with your appointment
Hope all you other lovlies are fine today ..

Hi everyone
Good luck and PMA to Traci and Debra and everyone else in fact. Don't know how you manage to keep track of who is on which stage. By the time I've read one page I've forgotten what's on the page before. Not much good at saying right words to comfort people but glad there are so many on here who can.
Had first injection of menopur today. DH did it, I'm glad I am sure I could not have done it myself. We were very nervous. Blood test tomorrow and so it continues!!
Thinking of you all.
love Lisa xxxx
