Hi Girls, I finally had a good nights sleep last night and have a week off of work :D Taking time off from work was totally unexpected but in Germany the doctors can write you 'sick' from work and you are not allowed to go in. One time I went into work after being 'written sick' and I had massive issues with the HR department. So I have some time to myself :D

Michelle -welcome back! I was beginning to wonder where you went off to!

Little P, Sandra, Lisa - Keep fingers crossed for some good news for the 3 eggs.

Debra - triplets is definitely out of the question. Luckily the german government has also regulated this and only 2 embryos can be transferred. Twins I can deal with (I think) I am only taking the Progesterone suppositories (2 capsules 3times per day - they do get a bit messy).

Elle - let us know how the scan went and the bloodwork.

baby dust to everyone! and lots of PMA!

ElleR... It is exciting when things suddenly start moving along. Good luck with your scan and bloods tomorrow ...!

Traci - Thank goodness you've finally got a night's sleep. A week off work sounds like a good idea. It's the same in the UK (or at least at my place) in that if you're signed off, you can't go into work during that period, unless the dr signs you back on again.

Have a good day girls, I'm off to work now ..

Hi Traci

Scan was fine, I have to do ovulation kits until my LH surge day then ring the hospital and they will see me 5 days later for another blood test and scan :!:

Waiting for blood test results to see about the NK cells and then hopefully get a clear indication when I can go through the treatment - fingers crossed it is soon :!: :)

How are things your end, still going ok :?: :?

LittleP - waiting sux doesn't it! Why do the test results take so long to come back? They must be fairly thorough! Here's hoping they reveal some helpful information.

Traci - yay you! Three eggs is plenty. I hope they all fertilize and grow into healthy embies. I agree about the triplets....that would be a tad too much to cope with. In Oz they are only able to put two back....the clinic still seems to have a high number of triplets though. Very odd.

DebraP - good luck for tomorrow. I hope everything goes well with your ET and that the embies find a comfortable home, one they would like to live in for at least the next 40 weeks!

Hello to all...hope you are all taking care of yourselves.

Cheers
Heather

Elle - how did it go at the clinic today?

Little P (must search other threads to see if you told me what you're really called!) - well done on the start to it all - everything takes ages doesn't it?

Sandra - meds going OK? did you have a go at injecting yourself yet?

Traci - have you heard anything from your clinic re. fertilisation?

I've just been for my progesterone shot and amazingly it didn't hurt a bit. I was talking to the Bio-Engineer about our eggs at the same time so was distracted which helped a lot. Well......the news wasn't terrible but not as good as we'd hoped. 5 had been fertilised but 1 has 2 sperm inside so doesn't count. Of the 4, 2 are 'optimal' and 2 'fine'. We're on for tomorrow provided at least 2 make it overnight. Here's hoping...

Just called the clinic -2 eggs were overripe and 1 was fertilized. I imagine the one fertilized was the one which was the late bloomer on Sunday. Geez Sunday is going to feel like a million years away until ET.

Debra - 4 fertilized is awesome! Esp. the 2 optimal. My clinic wouldn't tell me over the phone the quality - and to be honest I don't want to worry the next days if they told me the quality is not good.

Here is to my 'late blooming, Type B' embi! PMA that it survives until Sunday.

Hi Traci - we'll all be urging your embie to be a star performer on Sunday. :D

How are you feeling physically? I'm still bloated (or just fat??), quite sore and spotting a little although it will stop soon. The clinic said the follicles can bleed internally hence some of the soreness but I hope it passes quickly.

hugs
Debra.

Hi Debra - I am feeling pretty good today. A little sore or bloated not sure - but definitely not as bad as yesterday. Weird thing is - my BBs (nipples) are really sore - which usually is the case after ovulating but they are super sore today - must have been all the hormones.

Let us know how it goes tomorrow. Will be thinking about you!
