Well just back from clinic....11 follicules so far..they are pleased with my progress....have another scan on friday and monday and probably EC from next wednesday, all depends on how the follicules mattures.....
Is 11 ok? i asked if i would produce more and the nurse said it was unlikely, my body and drugs will concentrate on growing the follicules.
So need to carry on 200u of puregon til friday and then see what's next...i'm pleased, didn't know what to expect but so far all is well, even my lining is getting thicker.

Just a quickie today.
Debra and Tracii wishing you both loadsa luck for E/T.
Had my 1st stim injection this morning, i really wasn't looking forward to getting a needle in my belly and afterwards i realised i got myself worked up over nothing. I didn't feel it at all, the only bit that did hurt was where Michael grabbed my belly, he wasn't very gentle and had a look of enjoyment on his face, men eh, lol. So i know when tomorrow comes it's absolutely nothing to worry about.

Delly - you are day 5 stimming today aren't you ..? I would have thought that between now and EC literally anything could happen - it's such a long time off... Will be v. interested to hear how many follies you have on Friday ... ..not that I'm saying 11 isn't enough ... take it easy

Traci ...You're right, Sunday will seem light years away .... Make sure you get your body rested up now for the next few days. You need to be as fit as possible when baby embi goes back in, and rest is the best medicine ... Lots of PMA being sent ..

Tthanks you everybody for your well wishes....I'm quite happy with 11... .today is day 6, friday scan n0 2 will be day 8 and monday day 10 which is the protocol they work on at the clinic....so will have to wait and see...
Been to the spa for 3 hours and it was lovely, used the jacuzzi, big boobly pool, steam sauna, dry sauna and had a 1 hour Clarins facial with neck and head massage....That should make me sleep nicely and make my little follicules grow!!!!
Keep you updated after friday's scan.

Delly, what a good idea to visit the spa. All those delights are off limits as soon as you're on the 2ww - maybe before?
Michelle, well done on that first shot, it gets easier. Any joy on the smoking? Could you cut it down by degrees over the next few weeks so you don't feel you're going 'cold turkey'?
Traci, yes I agree on this (bb) too. I've been back in the sports bra but it's even hurt to shower. Here's hoping you get plenty of good sleep between now and Sunday. Will DH be with you throughout or just back for ET?
I'm feeling quite optimistic, will try and get a fairly early night although it's nearly 10.45 now and DF won't be home for at least another 1.5hrs.
Debra - can't wait to hear the good news tomorrow!! Did you BBs hurt the other times? - mine are getting worse! Even just walking they hurt and now my tummy feels bloated and achy again...felt good the entire day and then this evening my left side started to ache and now feel overall bloated.
You all seem so much further ahead in your treatment than me, I'm on day 7 of injecting burserelin and desperately waiting for AF to come, luckily I have had no side effects, but I still cant inject myself coz am too scared so DH is doing it for me.
Quick question, At the moment I'm a stone over my ideal weight, do you know if this makes a difference to the outcome? I really want to diet but have so much in my head at the mo I just cant do it!

there are about 5 places to post now but I'm only do this one quick message now and then maybe back on later.
ET went really well and we had some fantastic news. Yesterday afternoon more of our original 8 eggs fertilised. The final result was 6 ready to go! One failed completely and one double-dipped! Of the 6: 5 = 4 cell and 1 = 2 cell. We discussed the options with the consultant and finally went for 3 transferred back ( 2 x 4 cell and 1 x 2 cell) and the other 3 to be frozen.
Here we go!
