Dr. appt today

Hey ladies, just wanted to let yall know what happened with my follow with my regular Dr.
My test came back good. I ovulated during my CCT. my first set of test in Aug. my RDW (15.1)and BASO/100WBC (3.9) were high. During my second set, tests were normal and average. So I will have to be on clomid and I will need progesterone after we conceive to carry the pregnancy to term (whenever that happens). Too bad the idiot dr. couldn't figure that out when I was pg the first time. I also got a copy of Dh's SA. The dr. that gave him his results left and one big important detail.
These are dh's results
color was normal
vol. was 3.5 (2 is average)
viscosity normal
morph HEAD DEFECTS---the one big important detail
The labs comments were: Amorphous Heads, Giant heads, Pinheads

sperm M/100 66 (50 is average)
count 44 million

So, basically from what my dr. was telling me. Dh's sperm has abnormal heads and I don't ovulate.
Anyone have a similar situation? Please let me know your comments.

BTW...I don't have PCOS.. so, we're happy about that and the dr. put me on a lowfat low cal diet.

I'm hoping that this can be correct with meds. If not, dh and I are preparing ourself for ART if that is the route we need to take.

I am so sorry about your news - I can't believe that a Dr would fail to let you have the really important details,

I'm afraid I can't help but I know that you will receive loads of replies from other people who can help.

You've got to think positive. At least now you have the info you need to move forward in some way.

well you've got your results and that's what matters now! i don't know much about sperm morphology - we have none - but there are pretty good websites with plenty of info if you feel like it.

When we got our SA i spent a lot of time checking info to figure out our chances and it pretty much matched what our dr told us.

the not knowing is so hard....

i was on clomid and pro.. the shots at first hurt but i got used to tehm.. hubby gave them to me.. i always made sure that he wasnt mad ..
