Hi all

Thought i would say a quick hi as i am new to this site.
Started Syranel 19th March and have started putting weight on, anyone else had the same thing??

Feeling very nervous and excited but look forward to chatting to you all. Would love to hear from people having treatment round about the same time.

Firstly welcome to this site - as you've probably seen there are girls here with all sorts of experience and information.

I was on Buserelin so can't help with your drug, but I am sure you will get loads of support here.

a good idea is to pop onto the intro thread in this General forum and tell us a bit about yourself that way we get to know you quickly!!

I have started HRT as preparation for IVF with donor eggs anmd have put on 5kg in the last 2 months

new jeans.....

Hi Lou/Louise/Louisa?? With the other similar variants on your board name I'm tempted to call your something else

Weight gain is often discussed on here as we all seem to agree that it's very easy to do. I don't know that the meds are directly responsible but certainly I rule out all strenous activity and generally slow right down when downregging with Synarela. I also tend to comfort eat which given the huge emotional up/down swings we go through, means lots of snacking.
