Hi all
Thank you so much for your messages of support for both myself and Loobyloo.
I am sure she will be reading the messages and will post again when she is ready.
I am still quietly cautious but I have a scan booked in 2 weeks which will bring reality home to me when they confirm the heartbeat.
Close family have been told but DH is busting to tell all out friends, but I am keeping him on a tight leash at the moment.

You take care of yourself - now's the time to put your feet up and be a true "Lady Lavender".
Good Luck with the scan, what a special moment that will be - keep in touch

Hi Isabel - I agree with Sandra...don't test early. From Monday you will have only 4 more days. Testing Monday can bring the wrong information and then you will be even more stressed for the 4 days - it is not worth it. I know it is easier said the done.
Hang in there - you have made a very long journey so far

Isabel, the problem with early testing is it doesn't tell you anything for sure so you're no further forward - which is frustrating.
Having said that, it's also said there are no false positives with hpts, only false negatives (that turn out to be positive later).
The board is full of women who test early, get a -ve, are filled with despair only to get a different result on the day.
You'll do what you want to do I suspect!
Debra.

It is fantastic that your embie made it - it must be a strong one
Fingers crossed and good luck with the next 2 weeks. Remember we're all here for you when you need a shoulder, hug or just some encouragement.
Take care
