Hi girls, thanx so much to all of you for the PMA :) My feet are warmer today, and reading all your news has perked me up too, although still no sign of AF other than the usual PMT symptoms  I am just worried as AF is a +ve sign for me on HRT that my endo has done her bit each month so :? :?

Tracii - glad you and embie have come together at last sweetie, just lay back now and think of the womb wizard

D - I'm sure a packet of crisps won't hurt, I saw a study somewhere where they said taking it too easy wasn't necessarily +ve so I guess you'll have to wriggle a bit on your sofa

Love and baby dust to all of you sweeties

Big J

Stay strong, and here's a whole load of PMA that things happen quickly for you.

Fingers crossed because I know everything is just really maddening :x :?

BigJ - we're sooooo similar, up one minute, down another. I know they say we Aries-folk are never boring but it's exhausting too don't you think? My fix is to stick with a quiet man who calms me down, I've not really had hothead bfs, disaster I'd think.

Traci - I didn't bleed/spot after ET, only EC when it lasted for a couple of days but was mostly very light.

Maci - I wish DF was at home looking at car brochures but he's at work until midnight (newspaper sub-editor) so will be reading that paper instead!

Must go and start my 2004 accounts....no rest for the not-so-wicked!

hugs + tonnes of babydust on our heads,
Debra

Hi Delly
Here's good luck for the scan today - let us know how it goes and best of luck.
Traci - can't believe you've got a little embie in there - you musy be on cloud 9 - here's to a quick 2ww and a +++ outcome !!
Sand hope you're feeling better glad we're cycling together - there's a right little gang growing! Hi to all other druggies (maci, first ivf et al)
Was an absolute poof on friday  sat for 30 mins trying to inject and even though my head was saying 'go on do it' every cell in my body refused. After tears, DH kindly obliged - so we're now workin out an injection time round his shifts - I'm sure he gets some twisted thrill out of it¬ He he! Feel a bit of a failure but at least I'm gettin the jabs, nevermind - come off the pill on friday and nurse said I'll feel like the world is ending - joy! BUT it will be all worth it - PMA!!
Thanks for the notes and here's to a fab week for all

Eskavon

Hope things get easier for you - I don't think anybody can say they like the injections :!: I was just the same as you, I had to hide behind a pillow while DH was doing the injection. The only reason I now can do them is because I was in a position where DH wasn't going to be home on time and I had no choice :!:

Let me reassure you it wasn't the nicest thing to do but I couldn't believe how easy it was when I finally plucked up the courage.

Fingers crossed and PMA

Hi Gals, hope you are all well.

I had my scan today and they found 8 good sized follicles...2 on the left and 6 on the right. The doctor seemed happy with that but I was a bit disappointed (that left ovary is a bit of an underperformer, might have to think about sacking it!). I am now scheduled for EC on Friday morning at 8.30 am and ET, all going well, on Sunday.

MissMolly...how did your EC go? I hope you are feeling ok and that everything went well.

Elle and Delly, do you have EC times yet? Keep me posted.

Debra and Traci, I trust you are both getting plenty of opportunity to relax as well as plenty of distractions to make the time pass more quickly!

LittleP. Bummer about your test results but at least your clinic can now structure your treatment around the problem....and you can actually start your treatment. Yay!

Sandra, hope you are feeling better!

BigJ....good luck in Barcelona....you are leaving tomorrow aren't you? Hopefully you will have the opportunity to keep us posted while you are away. Best of luck to you....and enjoy the break.

I know I have missed a lot of you out and I apologise for that. I am really finding it difficult to focus at the moment (a shame because I have an assignment due!)

Best wishes to all

Heather

Well done with the scan - don't be down about the number though because at the end of the day all you will need is at least one good egg to put back and then you're off and running :D

You've still got 4 days for things to change and let's face it, in the world of IVF anything could happen

Sending you loads of PMA and baby dust and best wishes for Friday - let us know how it all goes.

Take care and look after your follicles.

Hi Heather! 8 Follies is great!!! :D :D :D

Take LittleP's word for it - it only takes one! I had 5 follies and then 1 popped up the day before EC. But then I ovulated 3 prior to EC, leaving only 3 for EC - which 2 were overripe! Leaving me with one little egg which fertilized and lived 5 days until ET!!!

You are doing extremely well with 8. Hang in there - just a couple of more days until EC.

Thanks LittleP

You are incredibly sweet and seem to know the right thing to say at just the right time. I should be grateful that I have any at all. I guess I am just not expecting too much out of the follicles on my (recently exposed) dodgy ovary and am really only counting the 6 on my right. Like you say, much can happen in between now and Friday so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Oddly, I could have predicted the result as I don't feel too bloated and only have slight pain on my right side.

How are you going? It must be comforting to know that you can now move forward with your treatment and with even more knowledge about your body than before. I don't really know too much about killer cells but at least now you can beat them at their own game!

Lots of PMA to you and I hope you have/had/are having (I am never really sure what time it is anywhere) a great day.

Cheers

Thanks Traci. How are you going? I hope that you are getting some R&R while you are setting up your apartment and taking good care of your embie. When do you move to Vienna permanently? I should imagine it will be nice to actually live in the same city as your DH.

Thinking of you and Debra and hoping for BFP results in the near future.

Cheers

Hi everyone. Well done on your scan Heather - 8 is a great amount  I had EC done today & got 9 eggs - is this good?? Dr was not very informative to say the least. Had a few problems with pain after the procedure & nearly did'nt get to go home! I also had nausea. Things managed to settle down after some pain relief & I feel good now. I will find out at 2pm tomorrow how my little eggs fertilise - I am so nervous.
