There do seem to be loads of clinics abroad it seems to be a matter of tracking them down. I found one in Cyprus earlier, my Mum lives in Cyprus so that might be a possibility. Also saw one in Barbados, think of the sun tan I could come back with!

Barbados sounds wonderful Gail, but remember that it would be a long haul flight back

Good luck with your research into treatment abroad. Big J (Taylorjools) and a couple of others are having treatment abroad soon. Big J, I know, is going to Barcelona which I think sounds lovely - what do you think? Big bonus her consultant is a George Clooney lookalike

I have just had an email back form Ceram clinic in Spain but as it will be my first go at IVF I would need to go out there for an initial consultation, I do think thats a good idea but I just havent got enough holiday to take from work this year, so would have to postpone to next year

Im still investigating though. what I may do is have a cycle of IVF here which (PMA) will work, however if it doesnt I might then go abroad when Im more aware of what its all about.

sorry Gail about the holiday thing

I tend to forget about that because I am in rehabilitation after a breakdown so don't have to take time off to do this - just need a medical certificate to say what I am doing with my time.

As I offered before you can always talk to me about this if it helps

Glad to hear that the packing is finally done. Do you think you might need a change of underwear and a toothbrush though? Might be an idea to pop them in your LARGE handbag just in case.

I am so excited for you.....not long now! I really hope everthing goes to plan. Sending tonnes of PMA to Barcelona and keeping everything crossed for you.
