Hi Lissa, Sarah30 and Helen

How are you all getting on? Where are you all from? I live in central Scotland and go to Ninewells hospital in Dundee.

I am back at work now after taking a few days off. Trying to take it easy. But I'm never sure what easy is.

Helen - You're really lucky testing on 5th, as I don't test until the 9th so the waiting is killing me. I've been given a home testing kit by the hospital and have to phone them with the result.

Sarah - I saw your other post and I don't feel any different either. I don't think it is necessarily a bad sign as it's still very early on.

Lissa - I hope things go well on Friday. Re success rates - my hospital's is around 12% - 15% for FET. Not very high, but worth taking a chance.

Fingers crossed for us all.

love
Caroline
xx

Hello Girlies - how are we all doing?

I had two embies put in on Monday, they took out 5 (of the 13), and 4 were ok, so the put back the two best and will re-freeze the other two when they get to blastocyst stage.

Everything crossed for all of us.

PS - anyone gone back to work, It's my day 3 (including the day I had them put in) and am back to work today. Most people seem to have the 2 weeks off - am I mad or what. Hope it doesn't affect my changes, the doc said it would be ok if I took it easy.

Love to you all and good luck

Sarah x

Hello again girls,
Well all seems ok at the mo, by belly is a little less bloated now and Im back into the swing of things at work...personally I feel better back at work as it gives me less time to dwell on whats going on inside me!!
Caroline, Im from the New Forest and am having treatment with BUPA Chalybeate, its about the only place doing IVF in my area...and its not cheap!! The 9th is a long time to wait...I thought it was bad enuf that I had to wait 12 days, some girls have tested at 10!
Sarah, just take it easy when you do go back to work as its very easy to work-work-work to take your mind of things, and knacker yourself, I am lucky that I can almost come and go as I please and if Im feeling really yuk I can just go home.
Anyway Ill be thinking of everyone who is waiting.....
you all take care,
fingers crossed & lots of love,
Helen xxx

[Edited by Helen on 30-Oct-02 18:58]

Hi Helen, sorry to but in but have been reading your messages and just wanted to say I am also under the Chalybeate in Southampton, and you are right it isn't cheap!!. Have just had my 1st attempt which unfortunately didn't work, but will probably try again in the new year, once we have saved uo the money again. Good luck to you and everyone else going through the dreaded 2ww.
I have a very dodgy PC at home which keeps disconnecting me so not easy to reply to messages but I log on frequently to see how everyone else is doing. At work at moment so will have to log out ant time now!!

Lulu
