That is absolutely fantastic - well done to you and DH :D

It is more important than ever that you really look after yourself now. Let us know how you go on Thursday, but well done on getting there.

I’m now on the 2WW (although technically 8 days’ wait, as I had ET yesterday with a 5 day blastocyst and a 4-day morula). My clinic tells us to test at home using Clear Blue and we can then come in for a blood test should we get a +ve. Isabel, I am wishing you lots of luck with your blood test. My clinic is VERY strict about not testing early, as they say the Ovitrelle injection we take before EC boosts your HCG levels and takes 2 weeks to leave your system, so they say it IS possible to get a faint +ve if you test early. Good luck though!

Good luck with the 2ww - we're all here for you should you need a hug or words of encouragement.

Take it easy and remember R&R is very important.

Thanks! Unfortunately I'm straight back to work and don't have the luxury of sitting out the wait at home. Been difficult enough taking time off for scans, EC etc and I took the Friday prior to Monday's ET off as I was still suffering pains after EC which are only now dying down. Trying to relax as much as poss when I get home (big home-delivery order from Waitrose helps). I see lots of ladies do take the entire 2 weeks off - may be something I consider should this fail.

Hi there

I have experienced both methods and I can honestly say there is no right or wrong formula.

When I had the two weeks off it gave me more time to sit around watching the hours tick by thinking "yes it's worked" or "no it hasn't". When I was at work, at least during the daytime I had something else to think about and it did help with passing the time.

Just remember to look after yourself, don't do anything stressful, and certainly don't go lifting anything.

Loads of PMA and Baby Dust to you :!: :D

Good afternoon to all,

Well its nearly time, only another 16 hours and I will be testing!!!!

I am quite nervous about buying the test and should have gone in my lunch but made excuses not to go. Does anybody prefer the digital tests to the standard ones? I am not sure which to buy, previously I have tested with a normal one but wonder if the reading is more accurate using a digital one?

I hope my friends are still speaking to me as I have been lying low for about 3 weeks now, hopfully we can get back to normal after tomorrow.

I don't really feel anything today, apart from the tender boobs and slight back ache! 70% of me thinks it has not worked but I suppose its easier to prepare yourself for the worst!

Started watching "The Ring 2" last night but after 40mins decided that if my embies had survived they would not appreciate me jumping around the sofa for 2 hours!!!! What a scary film!!! I suggest anybody on the 2ww or early stages of pregnancy AVOID WATCHING "THE RING 2"! :o

Anyway I will mail tomorrow to let you know the result, whatever and would like to thank you all for your kinds words and support over the past "very long" 2 weeks, love to all,

To be continued........

best of luck...this really is the very hardest bit, but you are SO nearly there now..hurray! re tests i dont think it really matters. CLear Blue are always recommended by my clinic as being very accurate and i think the choice of digital or not depends on how you will cope seeing the words "pregnant" or "not pregnant" or whether you are able to deal with the familiar little blue line/s as proof enough. will check in tomorrow to hear your news.

All the very best over the next few hours - stay as positive and strong as you can.

I don't think it matters which kind of test you go for - the accuracy is the same so go with whichever you prefer.

Will be thinking of you and sending you loads of PMA and Baby Dust :D

Good Luck

Good Luck LOS - can't wait to hear the good news!! And sending the positive pregnancy test fairy your way...but when you are done can you send her back to Germany??

I am curious - do any of you have any 'symptoms'? My boobs are sore but have been since EC (progesterone) and today my stomache feels yucky..(nerves). Any implantation signs?

Traci

I'm afraid that there is no definitive list of what you should and shouldn't be experiencing - some drugs give the pregnancy signs :? :!: However, having said that my feelings are that all signs you experience are positive signs and should be treated as such :D :!:

Hang in there and remember to get loads and loads of R&R.

Sending you tons of PMA and Baby Dust to get you through the next few days.

:D :D 8) 8)

Isabel, fabulous news! Congratulations!

LOS, good luck tomorrow. Which type of test did you buy in the end?

Tracii. The only feeling I have is sore boobs, so I'm back in sports bras at night!

Dancola. I'm working through my 2ww as well. It completely does my head in being at home so I'd rather be busy.

Go April 2wwers!!!

Congratulations Isabel!!! :D

Welcome to MRS A...and goodluck to you and Dancola with your 2ww. I'm also in my 2ww, with only 2 1/2 days until I take my test on Friday. It's definitely the longest 2 weeks I've ever lived through...ugh. I had cramps the first 4 days after my 3dt. But have had little else since then other than bloating. I've been feeling a little down too...thinking it may not have worked (especially since my embryo quality wasn't the best). But...we must stay positive!!!

LOS -- Please make sure to let us know your test results...I'm sending tons of baby dust your way!!!!
