Hi Ladies,

Bad news I'm afraid, negative test!!!!!!

I just want to sleep forever at this moment in time and work is the last thing I need right now but my bosses are not very sympathetic to "womens problems".

Wish all of you on the 2ww a successful outcome as I would not want anybody to feel as low as I do now. Like many of you I have been here before but it doesn't make it any easier.

On a lighter note at least Britney Spears is pregnant!!!!!

Thanks again ladies and we hope to try again around August. I am now going to book a trip to Las Vegas for my husbands 30th birthday in July!

Lots of luck and love to all you guys, speak again soon and although I will not post I will be reading to check your progress.

A very sad LOS xxxxx

I am so sorry about your news.

There's really nothing I can say that will make a difference right now, but here's a hug to try and help.

Look after yourself and when you feel ready to be with us again we will be here for you. :)

Oh LOS, I am so sorry. I really feel for you and it makes me angry that your managers aren't very understanding. It is great that you are throwing your energy into something positive....a trip to Las Vegas! I hope you have a wonderful time, despite everything, and I hope you have better luck with your next treatment.

Best wishes

LittleP,

Can you help me?

I read a post on this site somewhere that discussed "Implantation" and in particular a test that they had done which cost £750.00. I think the test was done in Chicago?

I have been trying to locate this post, did you read it? If so can you tell me where I can find it only I want the information to take to my consultant next week.

Anybody else who can help I will be most grateful.

Many Thanks,

LOSxxxx

Sorry to hear your news. Understand totally how you feel re work, I work in a very small office with 3 guys and there’s no way I could tell them about my treatment (nor would I want to). So far have had to take days from my holiday allowance and an odd day sick to cover absences. Next Weds is my test date and have decided to take the morning off. Being a pessimist, will not feel up to going in to work straightaway after a –ve result so want the morning at home to get myself together first. Still got a week to go, no obvious symptoms but I threw up my breakfast this morning which is very strange and I’m not sure this is a good sign.

Enjoy Las Vegas – it’s totally the right thing to do. During our first cycle in Dec (+ve but early m/c), I booked a trip to New York for DH and myself for the beginning of March. Theory was I’d either be 3 months gone so OK to do the trip, or would be about to start the next cycle so would want a pick me up before the slog started again. Was the best thing we could have done.

LOS, so sorry that this time wasn't meant to be. Yes we do know how it feels, but you're right, at the moment it seems like it's only you.

I remember the post you're looking for. It wasn't long ago (last 2 weeks? and I thought from someone in Ireland or the London area but could be wrong?) but the pace at which the board is moving - mostly because of Little Prolific :). Have you tried doing a search for '750'?

Booking a trip away sounds like the perfect thing to do. Take good care of yourself now.

hugs
Debra.

Re: the tests in Chicago.

I have just had the tests done and found out that I have high levels of something called Natural Killer Cells (NK). This means that although I can conceive, it is not going to go full term and a miscarriage will follow. Apparently the NK cells are a little over-cautious

I am now going to have a hysteroscopy, then have some IVIg treatment and some extra drugs during the next cycle - fingers crossed it works.

I can honestly say that from my opinion it was money well spent as I now have an answer as to why I had "unexplained" problems :D

Hope this helps.

Debra - "Little Prolific" - where did that come from :?:

Little Prolific...I think it suits you very well and as you're being mean and not telling me what you're called, I have to guess what the P might stand for - Penelope, Pricilla, Pheobe, Pansy, Petunia, Phylis, Pamela, Pauline, Peggy, Panda, Princess, Pongo, Paula, Pugwash, Pinky, Puma, Phylida, Phillipa, P.....come on, give me a clue!!

If you don't like it, just say + I'll stop.....I'm just a bit hyper right now (as if you couldn't tell!).

Me/Kerry.

Sore boobs are really common during the 2ww, it's due to the progesterone we have to take until test date. I have them too and my dates are very similar to yours. I'm on daily Crinone pessaries and they are 8% progesterone. What are you on?

AF pains are often the ovaries recovering from their enlargement and then the follicle damage during ET. I've certainly had twinges and the odd cramp today but I also know that we're SUPER aware right now and so notice everything.

It's really hard to differentiate between what's real and what's due to the meds. We just have to hang in there together :?

hugs

Debra
i am on crinone as well, to be honest i hadnt thought about that having any noticeable side effects, thanks.I think that because i feel generally ok i keep forgetting that everything inside is still sore and swollen from the EC.
You are very knowledgeable this obviously isnt your first time? How do you feel during the 2ww?
Thanks
