Hi girls,
That's me just home from my scan, was told i'm progressing nicely and the follies are good sizes, i forgot to ask how many and what sizes, my brain is complete mush these days. Have to go back up to Glasgow on Friday morning for another scan and to pick up some new drugs, was told this morning that starting on Friday i have to sniff 4 times a day, is this normal as i've never heard anyone mention that before??? Hopefully on Friday i'll be given a day for e/c.

Good luck to Delly and Elle for your e/c's.

Maci - i'll take your advice and do next to nothing at work on Friday afternoon, i'll tell them it's Maci's orders
What part of bonny Scotland are you? I'm in Dumfriesshire and have to travel up to Glasgow Royal for all my appointments, it's a bit of a nightmare but will hopefully be worth it in the end. Good luck with your scan tomorrow and starting stims, you're almost there now.

Sorry for lack of personal messages but i'm feeling a bit tired after the travelling this morning so might go for a wee nap.
I'll finish up by saying a big welcome to all the new people and a big Hello to everyone else, hope you are all keeping well. Good luck to everyone.
Take care and talk to you all soon,
Lotsa love

Michelle

Hi Everyone ... Gosh ... It's so hard to catch up after just a couple of days away ..!! There are soooo many folk on this thread now ...

Delly - 25 eggs ! That's excellent. Make sure you rest up now before ET. Your body needs to heal as much as possible before embies go back.

Debra - it's good to see you (and df) being so postive. Df's mood must be a good omen. The DIY shots didn't happen. A brave colleague kindly helped me out, bless her. Otherwise, I'd wld have had to go to A&E.

Susie .. Unfortunately, the more you worry, the longer AF will take. That's the law of the land I'm afraid. How frustrating - I hope it turns up soon for you.

Eskavon - I hope the jabs are getting a little easier for you ..

BigJ ... Thinking of you !!

Tracii ... Hope you're not going tooo crazy. You're nearly half way already !

Miss Molly .. Hope ET goes smoothly for you tomorrow. 7 out of 9 is really good. Well done.

Heather .. Exciting ..! You're nearly at EC now .. It's your trigger tonight ?

Tylerb - It's good that you're feeling so positive, and that you're stimming already !

Michelle - Great that your scan today went well. Hope you get that EC date on Friday.

Lisa ... I heard (I think it was on that tv programme the other night - Life before Birth) that the strongest swimmers can actually reach the point of no return in 10 minutes (although some of the other poor bu**ers take a lot longer !). I really don't think you've got anything to worry about.

Maci ... Hope you have good news at your scan tomorrow, and can get stimming

Kagome ... Good luck with your scan on Friday. Hope your throat's feeling better

ElleR .... You had EC today ..? Hope all went well. Let us have your news as soon as you're able.

Christine - Welcome to the thread. How exciting to be starting downreg at last. Yippee !

Kristen ... Welcome ! 23 eggies ! Wow .... Let us know how the fertilisation goes.

Little P ... Hope all's well ! I can see you've been very busy !!

I hope everyone else is feeling well

I'm pleased to report that AF finally turned up today. 3 days late, but - hey ! Going for bloods tomorrow, but may need to go for a repeat on Friday. We'll see.

Wow Kristen and Delly - that's 48 between you! Double WOW! Good luck with the fertilisation - you chickens you!!

Elle - how did it go today?

I'm a bit overwhelmed by the size of our board, not only is April proving to be an excellent results month, but a HUGE, lovely crowd of people too.

Tracii. How are you feeling? I've had sharp pains today, I think they were on the left hand side but wonder if that's psychosomatic as I know the embies were put back on the left hand side in ET.

Hi to everyone else, I'll try and get back online later this evening to make the message a little more personal.

Sandra - lovely to see you back safe and sound!!

Hi Debra! I am getting anxious/nervous...and trying to mentally prepare for whatever result I do get. I also don't feel great today - my tummy has not felt good - a mixture of a little naseau and cramping...I think it is all psyhcosymantic. Boobs definitely still hurt and my temps are still high...but again doesn't mean anything due to the progesterone suppositories. That is the worst part cuz you just don't know - it could be AF coming along or it could be implantation...nature works in mysterious ways.

Of course I am trying to 'feel and look' for other signs..but so far none. (i.e. like boobs being bigger or showing up of veins...it is always a test for DH  )

Hello everyone!

Delly- 25 eggs!!!! way to go girl! You did great! Here's hoping all our eggs get fertilized!

Just got back from the clinic. EC went well....they got 8 eggs! I was hoping for 15 since they said I had 15 big follicles, but hey I'm not complaining.

EC wasn't bad at all. Didn't remember must of the procedure except opening my eyes looking at the ultrasound monitor twice, felt some pain initially I asked the nurse for more Morphine and before I no it Im back in the recovery room. Dh did his thing after they took me in. And thank God he had enough motile sperm otherwise he would have needed to go for sperm extraction.

Wishing everyone here all the best! Baby dust to us all! :D :D :D

Evening All!
glad to see everyone is moving along nicely. as usual lots of advice and words of comfort to be read. It must be so hard for people who don't have others in this situation to talk to. Before I started my treatment I was very stressed and needed someone to talk to who was going thru the same as me. Than i found this board and although it makes me cry sometimes when you say things that are so true it is very comforting to know you are all out there.
It's very hard when mother nature is saying time to make babies and your body is saying oh no you don't! :)
Hang in there girls, PMA to you all
love Lisa xxxxxx
