Hello there!

Just got a call from the nurse. Out of 8 eggs- 7 were matured. And out of the 7 eggs they ICSI'd, 4 of them fertilized. She also told me there is a possibility of the 1 immature egg to still fertilize. I will know by tomorrow how my 4 fertilized eggs progressed and what time I'll be going for ET.

Delly- 19 eggs! that's amazing. Congratulations. We'll both be going for ET on Saturday. I'll be thinking of you.

Joy- hope your FET went well. Let us know how it went.

Miss Molly, debra & Tracii- Sending you lots and lots of baby dust your way!

eskavon- thanks for your warm wishes. It really means a lot!

I am soooo--- HAPPY today! This was the best news EVER! I'm glad I have all of you guys to share it with. Thank you all for being there. Love y'all!

:D :D :D :D :D :D

Congratulations - that's the one phone call that makes it all worthwhile, hopefully the first "positive" news you'll be getting over the next couple of weeks. :D

Good luck on Saturday and let us know how you get on.

PMA and Baby Dust to you.

Hi to you all,

Delly - WOW fantastic news. Am mega excited for you. Good luck with ET on Sat. Have a nice meal.

Debra - Poor you with your pains and tears. The meds and the IVF journey sure know how to mix us all about emotionally. Cyber hug to you hun.

Traci - hope you are well today and symptoms are keeping at bay.

Elle - GREAT news too. Your experience of EC has eased my worry. Good luck for Sat.

Kagome - AF will rear its ugly head soon and then you'll be wishing it to be finished! Hang on in there.

Missmolly - soooo excited for you. Your DH sounds a wee cutie.

Heather - all the best for EC. Keep us posted.

Little P - hi to you. How are you doing today?

Michelle - Hope you have rested after your trip to the clinic. Quite a round trip for you. I am attending the Edinburgh Unit which thankfully is not too far from my house. Scan went well today, nice thin lining and I have now started on Gonal-F. 2 injections per day - Oh Joy!!! The Dr was chatting away today but I wasn't really following the conversation. Normally I am quite an assertive person but somehow my brain-fade was in full flight today and it didn't seem wise to be a nuisance to the person who is controlling the probe up your jaxi

Anyway girls, be good be careful and PMA to you all

Bye for now

Hi Maci

Doing really well - on a bit of a positive at the moment. Long may it last.

What about you.

Kagome, I hope the dreaded AF arrives - PMA to you and big shouts to the elusive AF:

"Come on give Kagome a break you've bugged her for long enough, now when she wants you, you don't show - heck play fair" :D

Hope it helps.

Little P

Hi Girls

Glad to hear everyone is doing well. I am back from EC and feel revolting. As I suspected, I had ovulated and they only managed to retrieve 4 eggs. I had been focusing on my assignement and didn't realise how upset I really was....the anaesthetist asked me if I was ok prior to EC and that was it....I burst into tears and have not stopped since then! On top of that, the hospital told DH that they would call him when I came out and that I should be ready to go home at about 12pm. I was ready to go early and he wasn't there which just upset me even more. The poor bugger feels awful even though I keep reassuring him that I am really ok, just can't stop the tears! Well, I am keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow and will find out if any have fertilised at about 8.30am....hopefully my eyes will have stopped leaking by then!

Trying to keep up the PMA but am still disappointed.

DH has gone out to get me some trashy magazines, tissues and painkillers and I plan to spend the afternoon lazing around, reading and trying to find a tear jerker on the telly (at least that will give me an excuse).

Best wishes to all
Heather

Hi everyone. Started 2ww, and it is already dreadful - I can't think about anything else! Got a call from nurse today to say that we had 4 embryo's suitable for freezing & two were discarded.

Debra - My testing date is confirmed for the 27th April.
Delly - What a fantastic result! You are an egg machine! Well done.
Randa - Yes, my DH loves watching Sex and the City! Although I don't know if he would admit it to his mates!
ElleR - Good luck with your ET - will be thinking of you.
Kagome - Hang in there. Before you know it you will be enduring the dreaded 2ww!
Heather - I posted you on the other thread. Well done on your EC & and good luck on your ET - you've done so well to get to this stage, I'm sure everthing will continue to run smoothly.

Baby dust & cyber hugs to all

Lots of action going on! And such good news...makes for a good start to the weekend.

Heather - I posted to you on another forum but please stay positive..I know it is hard but 4 eggs is super, super, super good! I was in the exact same boat (natural O) as you and a complete mess waiting for my 3 eggs to fertilize - it felt like all I was getting was bad news. When I got news my one little guys made it to 5 day ET...I couldn't have been happier (I was bouncing off the walls) and so grateful just to make it to the 2WW. I am not sure of the outcome but my clinic has learned alot about how I handle the meds and to watch my LH. And if my little embi turns out to be really positive news...I think about the stories we have to tell

sorry to post gloom so early but I'm filled with doubt.

Last night we were crazy happy as I'd noticed besides being super tender, my boobs were veiny which I remember well from when I was pg. In the night I've been very warm and suddenly realised that I have that heavy, pre-AF feeling too. Not good and now I'm up it's getting more and more obvious. Today is ET + 8, there's nothing I can do except wander around DIY shops with DF and help direct his work efforts when we get home. I'll read a bit today I think.

Hoping everyone else has a great Friday.

MissMolly, well done on getting some embies to freeze. This part is the hardest, maybe plan to do something (gentle everyday) otherwise the 2ww will drive you insane. Chat on the April 2ww - at least we're all in exactly the same boat there too.

Kagome, did AF arrive?

Debra - Stay postive!! I am in the same boat as you today and trying like hell to think of good things..DH is coming home from Oslo this afternoon and we can actually have a Friday night together :D So I am off to the market and will cook like a fool today.

My boobs are not as sore and I too have the heavy AF feeling...also my temp is slowly dropping (when it should be sky rocketing)..and I have PMS-attitude (very snappy)..so no 'good' signs....

but we must stay positive because we just don't know :D

Let's hang in there together!
