Tracii. good luck this morning. What do they measure in your blood at this (early?) stage? Tell all when you're back please!!!

My AF feelings have dulled a little. As you said, who knows what it all means. We've just got to wait it out.

hugs

Hi Girls - looks like I will be creating the August/September forum...my HCG was extremely low--Dr says it doesn't look good. We have another test Tuesday but I am not optimistic

Off to sulk now...

Sorry about the test results. Try and stay positive until your test next week....this one seems particularly early.

Hope DH is with you over the weekend and is taking good care of you.

Hugs

Traci, really sorry to hear that but am puzzled as to why they test you so early? Surely there's still time for any implanted embryos to start creating HCG?

I test Weds (with a HPT). Am on my own this w/e as DH has gone home to Italy, it's very tempting to HPT now but wouldn't be fair on him and my clinic say traces of the Ovitrelle/HCG injection could still be in my bloodstream, creating a false +ve. Am pretty sure will be -ve as this time am feeling NO symptoms whatsoever. Last time (Dec) just before my +ve result my boobs (which unfortunately are very small) felt a lot bigger and I burst a bra! Nothing like that this time, so am not feeling very +ve.

Good luck for Tuesday - will keep fingers crossed for you.

I am 99.999% sure I am not preggers...nothing is pointing in the positive direction. Plus it would really be a miracle - I have had nothing but bad news so with the latest info. I am not surprised - the chances were extremely slim!

Yes I am really upset - (more p'ed off  )...but there is nothing I can do except prepare for the next cycle....Thinking about taking up yoga and learning Italian - done working end of April and will need something to keep me busy in Vienna.

My clinic takes holiday for the entire month of August - so looks like next cycle will be September...will see what Doc says on Tuesday.

Thinking of you all

Post by Leanne »

Hi Girls x
Thinking of you all !! Wishing you all loads of PMA and a speedy 2 weeks.

Tracii, sorry you are not hearing the things you want to hear now, hope the doctor has more positive news for you next time, even if it is another start date at least it will be something to focus on and keep positive for, sorry I know it's easier said than done x

As for the ladies looking and feeling for symptoms - from everything I have ever read and heard I really don't think they give an honest prediction. I have read about so many Ladies who felt nothing and got +tive and unfortunately the other way round. I wish you all well, I know it is hard, I know I always look for every single clue, on my first attempt I had sore boobs and that is rare for me so I was on the phone to my cousin
nearly every night, she would ask me " have your veins come up on your boobs, are your nipples changing etc" I never knew my boobs so well!! lol.
Unfortunately is was still -tive.
Anyway, fingers crossed for you ALL xxxxxxxxxxxx

Tracii ... Pls don't write this cycle off yet ... you've another 3 days to go until you know for sure. If that wasn't the case, the dr wouldn't be asking you back on Tues. Pls pull together some PMA for the sake of your embi ..

Tracii - my very special cycle buddy - whilst preparing for the worst is perfectly understandable and human, why not just wait until Tuesday? If necessary, there will be plenty of time to sulk (I sulk too so we're even more alike).

Have a restful weekend, think positive. Focus on the good things you have and let nature take its course.

Sitting here I have sharp jabbing pains, probably from the gardening I did this morning but maybe AF prep too, who knows?

special hugs to a special person,
Debra
