About to start IVF for the first time!

Hi everyone
I am new to this forum. I am 26 years old and my husband is 31. I am about to start IVF. My husband needs to get sperm aspiration. I have started taking birth control pills as my doctor suggested. As far as I am aware of I dont have any fertility issues! but a series of tests including sonohysterogram, blood tests etc. have to be done soon on me in a months time!!!! I am very nervous and anxious. If anyone else is going thro or gone thro the same please help me!

Chitra,

I am going though the same thing, but I am 36 and my husband is 36. I had all the tests, including a saline ultrasound. My husband has a testicular biopsy to remove sperm. All a success. I am starting my first cycle and on the third day of Lupron. My hopes are high, but I realize the statistics. You have your age on your side on this one. Best of luck to you!

My husbands biopsy is next friday. can u please tell me how ur husbands biopsy went?
did he have a lot of pain from the procedure? I am really worried for him.

Hi all,
I am also going in for IVF. WIll be starting Lupron on 28th April and ER between May 17th and 20th.

You will find this is a true lifeline for you during your treatment. When you are ready come over to the General Forum and join in the threads.
