Hiya girls,
Sorry i didn't give my update earlier, got back from the hospital and was soooo tired so i have been asleep most of the afternoon.
Got some good news and some not so good news today.
Good news is i go for e/c on wednesday morning at 8.30am, have to do my jag tonight at 7.30pm, and guess what? i have to do it myself again, Michael is working tonight and it wouldn't normally be a problem me going down there but at the time i need to have the jag he will be in the middle of teaching one of his gym classes and can't get out, so i will start to syke myself up about 10mins before it's due so that i do it on time, lol.
The not so good news i got was during the scan, i did have a major growth spurt over the weekend and now i'm borderline OHSS, before the nurse done the scan she asked how i was, i said i felt like i was ready to burst, she took one look inside and said she wasn't surprised as there was loads of follies there. I had 14 ranging from 13 - 22 mm on one side plus a ton more she didn't measure and 9 of the same sizes on the other plus a ton more again. She said i was borderline OHSS and it might come down to a total freeze all on wednesday but they wouldn't know until the e/c. So in the matter of a couple of days it's went from one extreme to the other.

Debra - how are you holding up? i hope you are taking it easy and trying not to worry.

Tracii - how are you? not long til tomorrow's test, i wish you the best of luck, try not to worry about your results the other day, easier said than done i know, i wish you the best of luck.

Maci - sorry to hear about your bad weekend, i hope you feel much better and not worry too much. That was good news about your scan today, good luck on your next one on friday, fingers crossed i'll be having e/t that day if they don't decided to do a freeze all.

Sandra - hope the downregging is going well, i can't remember if you've said but do you have a date for e/t yet?

Heather and Delly - well done on the e/t's, take it easy.

Dancola - good luck for your test on wednesday.

Has anyone heard from Jules lately? Haven't seen her posts in ages and getting a bit worried.

I know i've missed out a lot of you, i'm still suffering from brain mush and finding it hard keeping up. I'll just say good luck to you all and hope you are keeping well.
Take care and talk to you all soon,
Lotsa love

Michelle

Hi Michelle .. As you say, Good and Bad news ... You are brave doing your own jab tonight. I'm proud of you ! Make sure you drink at least the normal 2 litres of water to try and hold off the OHSS. It will be a shame if you can't go through with ET, but if you do have OHSS you probably won't care at the time. Fingers crossed all goes well for you on Wed. I'm hoping for ET around 3 May, so you'll almost have your BFP by then !!

Jules / Julie hasn't posted for a good couple of weeks. We hope you're okay Julie ....???

BigJ ... Hope you have a goooooooood week in sunny England !! (It's totally freezing at the moment ... snowed on Friday night again !! .... mid April !!)

Michelle - good luck with the next few days and EC tomorrow. Do drink 2 litres (but not hugely more) of bottled water or milk if you can - tricky at work I know. We'll be thinking of you. Fingers crossed everything calms down and there's no OHSS.

BigJ - have a good flight and enjoy the visit. Iknow it will be tough seeing your sister with her rapidly growing family but that can be you very soon too :)

I've feel like buying an hpt. I've never tested early before as they cost 5 times the UK price and 10 times the cheapest US and I won't spend that just to gain an ambiguous and nerve racking extra 24hours. Tight, moi? But still, this AF feeling is so strong. Hard to believe/pretend it can be much else. Still, I've only got to wait until Thursday.

To help pass the time, I have an afternoon of work today and a morning of it tomorrow. On Thursday I have a horrible, stressful journey to a client in the afternoon so will ask DF to phone for the result. Either result will distract my drive home so he'll have to call me when I get back as he'll have just started work by then. Not the way I'd like to hear but needs must.

Hi to everyone and sorry for wittering on so.
hugs
Debra

Just back from bloodtest...and now almost 100% sure it did not work this cycle...I do not even need to call in....AF has showed her ugly head

It really hit me being at the clinic this morning....a woman who had EC and ET same days as me was also there for her bloodtest....except she was getting extra prescriptions and was very, very happy....I had such a pang of jealousy and wanted to burst out crying!! I felt my head hang so low and just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible...feeling like such a failure

...but I already setup a discussion with my Dr for next Tuesday...I am not giving up! Also...I can start the 2. cycle next month :!: ...but I need to discuss with DH...but I think June would be better so I can have some time to recover...mentally and physically.

Hi michelle

Sorry to hear about your situation. Lots of luck with your ec on wednesday. Lots of lovely eggs I would imagine with all those folicles.

I was in a very similar situation to you at the beginning of february.I was so upset when they told me i would have to have a total freeze all. But my hormone levels had doubled over night and were dangerously high.
I know exactly how you feel, as you've come all this way and possibly cannot have the most important bit. I was relieved in the end, as I felt rough after ec. They are only thinking of you and their main concern is avoiding ohss.

Take care of yourself and drink plenty of water.
Lots of love christine xxx

Christine, your post to Michelle is the perfect example of how great this board is, full of support from people who know exactly how others are feeling.

Traci. I can imagine how difficult this morning was, esp. with the other patient. On the positive side, more proof that your clinic get great results and it will be your turn next. Good news you can start again in the next few months. I did back-to-back FETs last year and wish I hadn't now, your decision to wait at least a month might be a good one.

Fluffycat, you're back :D

Of course you can join us, it's a bit mixed right now. Some people are also posting on April 2wws but there are plenty more on their meds right now.

Good luck on Friday and I hope the fluid has drained naturally. There are lots of people on here with no tubes for various reasons, it hasn't stopped us trying!

hugs

Hello Ladies!

Since ET last Saturday, I've been taking it easy. Been bedrest x 48hrs after ET per doctor's orders. And I also decided to take off from work this week... yesterday, I had called in sick and left a message on my manager's voicemail. She has yet to call me. Don't feel comfortable telling her about my tmt though.... I'm sure she's going to ask me what's wrong ,...any advise?

To all my cycle buddies, continue to keep the PMA!!! Cyberhugs to all!

Sorry to hear your news. I went out and bought a HPT today which I’ll do tomorrow (or possibly late tonight so it doesn’t spoil my Wednesday). Rather not do it, knowing will be a –ve, but it needs to be done. I guess all being well I too will be cycling June/July time, once I get a follow-up appointment sorted out. I had to wait from December to March last time as I’d had a +ve result, hopefully this time I can start a bit earlier. I think with these things it can be good to get back into the saddle again.
