Just want to congratulate everyone on their BFP results and wish everyone here a healthy pregnancy and safe delivery as well.
I was wondering if you could share with me how many embryo's had you transferred, the number of cells of the embryo's you transferred that resulted in a BFP.
Thank you.

We did a 3 day transfer with 2 eight cell embryos and one 7 cell embryo. We have a beautiful 11 day old girl. Our situation was also male factor. We were only going to transfer 2 embryos but I had a wierd feeling about the 7 cell embryo, like intuition or something. So I talked my husband into transferring that as well. I'm not sure which embryo took, but the male embryos tend to grow faster than the female embryos so I'm thinking my intuition might be correct as we have a beautiful little girl.
Good luck with your process, nothing about this is easy.
Hi,
I have always had two embryos transferred and I have been lucky enough to have good grades (but was told I had excellent embryos on my first go but still got a negative result). Can't remember how many cells they had. But what I do want to say is that from being on this site for 18 months there is no correlation between the grading of embryos and success rate. There are people who have become pg with twins from low grade embryos (Tracey - now a parent - hope you don't mind me using you as a statistic!!).
On my frozen go I had two grade 2 embryos that didn't survive the thaw, so it may be that they wouldn't have survived if been implanted in me straight away from fresh. The two that survived the thaw weren't fabulous as they hadn't divided well, but something happened as I had a positive result for a day before af arrived.
But this third go, I had a grade 1 and 2 put back. Both implanted, one died at 10 weeks, and I am now 25 weeks pg with the surviving twin.
Do not fret too much about grading and cell division. What is most important is a positive attitude and lots of tlc.

I got a BFP yesterday and still trying to get over the shock!
I had a day 5 transfer of 3 blastocysts, 2 were grade A and the other was grade B. Have no way of knowing how many are implanted, but my hCG was very high. The dr. called today and says he feels confident we have twins on board.
Best of luck to you along with big hugs and loads of PMA's
Katy, you never know - you could be having triplets like me!!!! When will you have a scan - about 6 weeks?
Best of luck to you.

Oh, I am terrified of triplets! Tell me how you are coping. I will be 39 when this child/children are born and to have gone this long w/o children and then to think of 3 just blows my mind! Our first scan is June 1. That will be appx. 8 wks and they will tell us that day how many are on board.
Good luck to you and cannot wait to hear your story!!
