Kerry - :( to hear about your -ve result, nothing can prepare you for it, I had really bad cramps after my last tmt, I said to dh I thought it was so unfair that not only had tmt not worked but I was being made to suffer too! Take care of yourself and August will be hear before you know it.....

Tracii - yes would recommend Zita West, I am taking a multi vit plus healthy eating and having acupuncture - think the book is good although some of it is OTT for me, but you will find things in there that are really helpful. Not sure about ordering vits from there though as heard they were very expensive??? I take an all round pre-natal vitamin called Pregnacare, sure some of the others might have some other suggestions for you.

Kerry and Traci.... so very, very sorry!

And, I am taking baby aspirin too..... it is supposed to help with the blood flow to the uterus.... and I have actually had my FET on April 14th, just waiting for test on April 26th, but still have to take a baby aspirin a day!

Kerry-

I know the wait seems hard, but it is true, it can help your body mend and actually, get you in a more positive state of mind!

We are all here for you!

Kerry

I am so sorry about your result. Take some time to be sad, I think it helps, and also time to focus on yourself. I think you are allowed to be as selfish as you want right now. It might help to plan something great like a holiday to give yourself something else to focus on for a bit.

Take care of yourself.

Debra - I am getting really good vibes today for you! Just curious - do your boobs continue to have blue veins?? I knew (even before AF showed up) it was all over cuz boobs stopped hurting and became their normal size again.

Can't wait to see the :D :D :D tonight!

Traci, I've stopped with the sports bras but they're still tender with some veiny look to them. I can't tell what this all means! I was too excited to sleep past 0600 today - how tired am I going to be tonight?

How are you doing Traci? How did DH take the news?

DH is very pragmatic and said we will definitely try again. I am doing ok - sometimes I get really teary-eyed and wonder why not me?? What have I done wrong?? I was out walking the dogs and there were about 8 woman walking with their babies in prams - and I wanted to be one of them! I have had so much disappoinment that I just want one time to hear the words 'you are pregnant'.

Yoga tonight (first time) and talking to doc about acunpuncture...have been reading alot about the advantages for IVF and my clinic offers it. Trying to do everything possible to get a ++++++++.

Tonight you can celebrate!!! I know you will have good news!

Traci, Let's hope so! If not, I'll relax with a glass of red, I do miss my wine!

Glad to hear you're being so pragmatic. Seeing pg/mums everywhere happens in waves, they'll go soon!

Have a good Thursday, only one more day of work to go or is that next week?

One more week of work..I am counting the days :D I really believe there is a strong mind/body connection and I have not been happy at this workplace for over a year...the people treat eachother with such disrespect - I have never experienced anything like this before. They literally shout over each other and never listen..I told my boss in a meeting I refused to attend if people were not decent enough to listen to each other - I wasn't invited back!. I could go on venting my frustrations..but blood pressure goes up just thinking about it.

I know once I am out of here - things will change

A nice glass of red sounds nice....but I hope you don't have any

Debra – am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Kerry – so sorry that AF seems to be here. As you know, mine started on Monday and I was gutted. DH has taken it worse than me, our problem is male factor so the poor thing had been stuffing himself full of various seeds and he’d been taking Zita West’s VitaMen so he’d really hoped for better news this time. I think our problem is that the ICSI technically worked on our 1st cycle in Dec (though I subsequently lost it) so he thought it would just work this time too. I’m more pragmatic and wouldn’t have expected a +ve on our first go. I worry that he’s starting to turn this thing around in his head by blaming me when the cycle fails, which makes me more nervous around round 3. I’ve got a follow up apt on 6th May, which is good, and will see when I can start again. DH is keen for me to start asap! Obviously this would be my 3rd go, and possibly final attempt with my current clinic (some of them won’t let you try after 3 –vs).

Tracii, I’m on the Zita West vitamins. They are expensive – worked out at £ 60 for one bottle ZitaMen, one bottle of ZitaFem and one bottle VitalDHA (which is apparently supposed to be the ‘new’ folic acid but better as all natural fish oils). I don’t know if they work or not – obviously not this time for me. Last time I just took the Pregnacare and got my short-lived +ve. Not sure if I will carry on with them or go back. I think I will order this book though. Not sure about acupuncture, have always been terrified of needles, that said I’ve managed to do 2 cycles injecting my Suprecur and Gonal F, so am a dab hand now!
