Firstly hi there Clare

This is a really good time to join - the 2ww is a really difficult time and you will find, whilst reading the various posts, that everybody seems to react differently.

I am afraid I can't give you a definitive list of symptoms to look out for because we're all so different :!:

What I will say is get plenty of R&R, look after yourself and if you need us then let us know - we're here for you and will try and make these 2 weeks a little easier.

Take care and PMA to you

Little P :D

Becky

If you edit your message above and remove some of the +++++ it might stop this thread from being W I D E .....

It might not of course, but it's worth a try

Hi Claire - Welcome !! These first few days after ET it's important you get plenty of rest to aid your body's healing rate .. a few good dvds, books and lots of relaxation ! Make sure you drink the recommended 2 ltrs of water .. no strenuos exercise - hoovering, or anything like that. Plenty of protein. Keep tummy warm, but don't use a hot water bottle. Most important of all ... lots of PMA (positive mental attitude) .. I'm sure it really does help !!

Also, you'll find that you swing from feeling quite positive, to being certain the cycle's failed. It's all the hormones in your system. Don't worry if you find yourself crying for no apparent reason.

Lastly, under no circumstance do an early HPT (home pregnancy test). Whatever the result, you just won't believe it and it's really not worth the trauma.

Keep us posted with how you're going on ......Good luck !!!!

Thanks for your messages everyone. Just at work at the moment and had to take a peek to see if anyone had responded and I'm very pleased. Didn't realise about the water. Had wanted to do a HPT but DH (see I'm getting the hang of this already) said I mustn't.

Will do the introduction thing later but it will be very boring.

Many thanks
