TTC 6yrs......Have jumped off the rollercoaster for now, too many BFN's and too much heartache, to keep going....Moving on to fulfil other dreams!!!

Hi Girls its Mrs A here

I got a 'very weak positive' result, my HCG level is 25 , and anything over 50 is a definite positive, i have to go back Monday for another blood test.

As you can imagine this is killing me, can anyone tell me if they have heard of this before,

I'm feeling scared that i'm losing it as i've got cramps and brown discharge

HELP!!!!!!

Hi, I've been waiting all day to see if you've posted.

I'm sorry it wasn't better news. I've had a weak positive before and I think they're almost worse than a -ve as you're left in the lurch, not knowing for days.

There are weak positives quite often on the board. I'm off to see if I can find one that has worked (I've one in mind and she's very pg now - I'll post back at bit later).

It's obviously not the best possible start. I don't want to ruin your weekend but you sound as if you're being quite realistic, esp. if you're spotting slightly too.

I'll post back asap.

Mrs A - I found the person's posts I was thinking of, back in the Sept/Oct buddies thread last year. She had bright red bleeding before testing, her hcg level was 240 but because of the bleeding she tested again and even after a couple of days, her level was only 40 higher. This went on for some time, she expected a m/c at any minute and had given up all hope of it working. BUT IT DID...her levels slowly increased, picked up speed and were soon normal. She's happily pg over on the other board now. I know this isn't the same as your situation but her fears weren't realised so let's hope your numbers rise over the weekend.

Hi Kerry and Mrs A,

Kerry, I am so sorry to hear your news..... as LittleP said, take it easy and have a relaxing weekend :!: I found the week after the worst, it seemed to take a week to sink in :?:

Mrs A, you sound realistic etc. I must say I had a faint possitive and the blood tests were 19. They called it a bio-chemistry pregnancy :? apparently very common in IVF. BUT..... you never know :?: :?: :?: They say dark blood is old blood...... that's got to be good?

Have posted to you else where but I just want to say I am thinking of you I to have had a neg and have pretty much cried since AF arrived Weds.
It is horrible words can't describe.
