I have been looking around for a twin pram and was wondering if anyone could recommend one? Or has any idea where i can get one?! i have set my heart on an actual Pram rather than a buggy you see . . . if its at all possible.
any comments greatly appreciated!!!

congratulations.
Yes, you can get twin prams there are a few different types/makes but all pretty similar. Babystyle, Bertini and Emmaljunga do them. I bought an Emmaljubga pram, which was slightly more expensive, but lighter and had a bit more (and I just liked it the best!!) The babies lie facing you which I felt was really important, then when they get bigger you just turn the whole chassis round so they look out instead.
It took 8 years to get pregnant and I was determined to have a pram. I don't use it as much as I thought, it is difficult to fit in the car and I can't lift it in/out on my own. But I use it when I am just taking them for a walk, at least every fortnight, and I am glad I got it.Its lovely and cosy. I also have a twin buggy which I bought second hand which is ideal when going out in the car.
Hi, I am not on the lucky board yet as I have not been sucessful in ivf yet. However, I have twin nieces and I was a nanny for years.
My sister in law had a twin pushchair that they sat side by side, it was extremely heavy and hard to push.
I have used several pushchairs nannying and the absolute best kind is the 3 wheeler, but the front wheel HAS to swivell. They are so light and eay to push they are a dream. I didn't like the look of them at first but I would never buy anything else if I have a choice. They now do them in twin style and they are looking a lot nicer, some have a kind of pram style too, not all just pushchair style I 'm sure. the only thing is, like all prams etc. is make sure it folds down well, they can be really bulky and hard to fit in a car.
Sorry I have no experience of prams ( not since the 70's and I had my doll in it). Go on line and check out what is available or get in touch with a twins foundation there must be a board like this for help and you ask mothers directly.
Twins - how exciting!!! My nieces are 4 now and they are adorable, I also nannied for twins a long time ago and it was wonderful, I found it was easier than 1 or other siblings as they entertain each other and they have similar interests, e.g days out suit both rather than drag an older child round the park and a younger child round the museum - you get the picture.
All the best x
