Julie,
Congratulations on 7 eggs! That's a good quantity to work from! Please keep us updated as they become embryos. Are you doing day 3 or day 5 transfer?

Hi Kagome

Sorry the injections are causing you problems :(

Good luck with the scan and here's to a successful egg collection.

There's a thread for people testing in May - would you like me to add your name to the list.

Delly,

We are in the same situation. It was also our 1st go at IVF & we tested
-ve. I feel really sad, lost and depressed as well. Sometimes I feel okay. It was very upsetting when we had to call the nurse to get the blood results. Even though I had AF & knew it had not worked - I was still hoping for a miracle! DH and I made the mistake of telling family and friends about out testing date, so the phone did not stop ringing all night & I could'nt bring myself to talk to anyone. I also don't want to go back to work, where I will have to concentrate on what I am doing (I am a nurse, so I have to be focussed totally on the job).

Lets all just hang in there together - our time will come.

Take care.

Missmolly

3rd IVF (stimulated cycle) - no embryos!
4th IVF 02/06 -ve
January 07 - went interstate to a new clinic and got BFP!!!!!!!

MissMolly - your time WILL come, first round success stories are rare. Now the clinic know you and your responses they're much better armed for your next round.

It DOES hurt so don't deny yourself grieving time.

double hugs

Julie - 7 eggs is fantastic!!! Let us know how the fertilization went :D :D

Kagome - when doing the Purogen just visualize all those follies growing and all this good stuff happening...the pain only last seconds and then you will have a beautiful result :D :D

Debra - how are you feeling??? I can't wait to hear how many heart beats are thumping away....do you feel any different from the first pregnancy?

All my buddies with a -ive in March/April....we gained a lot of experience and our time is coming up very soon - I really believe this! Let's get our minds and bodies ready ...also DHs! (my DH has already increased motility from 10-21% to 56%!!!!!...small miracles do happen )

:( Hi Missmoly,
Thanks for your message, i know i'm not the only one in this world to go through this pain...but it's still hard.
Good luck to you, what are you going to do? more treatment?when?
Well, i still have to do test tomorrow morning and call clinic to let them know of the result...it's going to be a Really Fat Negative..My AF have been the worst ever, like clots of bloods...horrible..
We talked last night and cause i had 25 eggs, we thinking of doing "egg share" so we could afford to do another treatment from september, we'll have to talk to the consultant about it, but i am feeling a bit more positive.
Still haven't told my mum and only told one friend...i couldn't talk to anyone the last couple of days, just thinking about it made me cry...
good luck missmolly, keep us posted of your progress and could be working for us next time around.
luv, take care

What can I say........

Desperately sad to hear your news. Take time to be with DH and allow the physical and emotional scars to heal.

Having a plan for future treatments seems a very positive way to go at the moment.

Take care

Sorry to keep you all in suspense....

EC went OK - pethidine was very nice and once the hypnoval kicked in I have no recollection of the experience. Apparently I cried through alot of it and was introducing the 3 dogs on my nightshirt to the theatre staff - hopefully I provided them with some entertainment throughout the procedure :D

Anyway, I had 15 eggs collected, 13 of which they were going to use for ICSI. I've just phoned the nurse who has reported that we have 11 embryos - yippeeeeee :D They won't be able to tell us the grading/quality until tomorrow when I go for ET at 12:00 but hopefully two will be good enough to transfer. Really happy and excited at this stage. DH has been reading Zita's book and is going to make sure I stay in bed for at least 3 days of complete bedrest following ET - he says I'm not allowed to logon only to go to loo and then straight back to bed- we'll see

Julie - great news from you too. When are you going for ET? If I don't get much chance to chat over next few days I want you to know that I will be thinking of you. Wishing you all that is good.

I'll look in again tonight.

Bye for now

Maci

That's fantastic news - now go and get plenty of rest and look after yourself.

PMA, hugs, best wishes and sprinkles of Baby Dust for tomorrow. You know where we are if you need any support during your 2ww.

Fingers crossed
