Feeling yucky on Prostap

I had an injection of 3.75mg of Prostap last Wednesday and I feel absolutely awful since then. I was on Buserelin on my last ICSI but they gave me this so my FET would be finished by Xmas. I have had a really bad headache since Friday and it seems to be getting worse. Also I am really tired - want to fall asleep all of the time. It has been a while since last cycle so not sure if this is normal. Plus, does it go away when I start taking oestrogen and progesterone? I don't know how I am going to cope at work tomorrow (I teach) as I am struggling to do anything at the moment. Sorry to moan and whinge but I would feel a real idiot phoning up the hospital to be told that it is to be expected. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Michelle S

Michelle, I had Prostap when I did my IVF in August (can't do the sniffing thing with Synarel), and the nurse at the clinic warned me that I could feel all sorts of menopausal symptoms, such as headaches,tiredness, hot flushes, night sweats, mood swings etc etc... I was really lucky, and didn't have any of them though - in fact I never felt better than I did all the way through the cycle. All those extra hormones seemed to agree with me! Hopefully your body will soon adjust to the jab and you'll start to feel better - but if not, give your clinic a ring, they'll be able to tell you if there's anything you can do to combat the way you feel.
