Delly - so sorry you got the -ve you'd started to suspect. I bet it was still a disappointment. I still hoped against hope the cycle when I bled after a cycle last year, I still tried to convince myself I'd be one of the miracle stories on here.

Be very, very kind to yourself this weekend and for as long as you feel you need it.

hugs

Heather - I am not sure where you will post next....but since we both had the same issue with the early ovulation - I am very curious what changes to your protocol your clinic will make...please let me know.

My doctor has doubled the dosage of Synarela to keep my LH down and no natural ovulation.

Big hugs.

Hi everyone hope you are all ok. Still haven't
managed to go through where everyone is up to. There is so many of us. Sorry!!

Sandra hello how are you doing. where are you up to? Hope you are ok

I am not doing too great. Still waiting for af to arrive. Now on day 40, my cycle is normally 35 days. Being going with the bureselin for over two weeks now. It feels like a lifetime already. Been to the hospital today for a scan and bloods. They have now found three cysts on my right ovary, that weren't there before I started treatment. The doctor said not to worry as doing fet it will be ok. But you cannot help worrying.

Nurses have just phoned and have to still carry on with bureselin and go back next friday for another scan and bloods. Feeling very low today as nothing seems to being going to plan.
Sorry for the grumble, but dh has been working so hard lately, that the last thing he needs is me going on when he gets home from work.

Take care everyone.

Hiya Girls ... Thanks to everyone for their warm posts about my stupid mistake...

Maci ... Yes, it's really strange how there are so many different protocols. You'd think that something as simple as just WAITING should be the same wherever ...? Mine counts 17 days from ET. Now work that one out ? Good luck !!

Debra ... Oh - thanks Debra ... 3rd time lucky ?! You sound like you've a lot on ... just make sure you don't overdo it. Is Maya having a b'day party ?

Randa .. thank you ! I felt such an idiot, and today - every twinge ! - I keep imagining I've overdosed. I know I'm over reacting. Hope you are okay ?

Julie .. I hope ET has gone perfectly for you ? Let us know when you can. In the meantime, lots of rest !

Christine .. I'm okay thanks. Hoping for ET on Wed. On each of my cycles, my AFs been 3 days late on the Buserlin. Try not to get too worked up about it (I know it's easy for me to say that). The more you worry, the longer it will take. If I'm waiting, I sometimes find that a nice warm, relaxing bath speeds it along. (It's a good excuse for a pamper anyway !). I hope it turns up soon for you.

Hope everyone else is okay today, and looking forward to a lovely weekend.

Delly ... I'm sorry. I know you were expecting it, but it's still so hard. I hope your follow up appointment on Thursday brings some way forward for you. As Debra said, be kind to yourself. This treatment takes so much out of us, and I don't think we always realise it at the time.

Take care

Julie.....so glad ET went well. The 13th is going to be HUGE! It's a special day for me too (1st scan) so we can look forward to it together :)
Try to get more rest than usual but there really doesn't seem to be much positive correlation between how long you rest for and a +ve result. Do what feels right for YOU.

Maci - hope today went well?

Elle and Joy - we're waiting with baited breath!

Sandra, I'm fairly sure I slightly overdosed regularly on Puregon this last time. My first 3 phials had much less left in than the 4th and one time I knew I was 50 too much. Can't say I'd recommend it but it didn't harm me either - twitch, twitch...... Yes Maya is having a party. 7 little friends (+ parents) aged between 18m - 2 so should be very noisy. The only entertainment I've got my head around so far is an electric bubble machine!

I'm still full of cramps but will have to accept this is maybe how it will be. Just had a visit from FIL + wife, she looked at my stomach (which is looking its normal plump self) SO many times. She is only 3 years older than me but never had kids. We said nothing.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone,
hugs
Debra

Hi Ladies

Delly, so sorry about the result. I really hope you begin to feel better soon. Do something nice for yourself.....I am planning on spending a lot of money on shoes!

Julie, fantastic news. Try and relax over the next two weeks. I think you need to let DH know that you are now the queen of everything and expect to be treated as such.

Debra, I hope Maya's party is a hoot. I love kids parties although I am generally the person that is encouraging the kids to be noisy. It is easy to be loads of fun when you don't have to sustain the energy for too long (and when you don't have to take any overstimulated, sugar filled and incredibly tired kids home with you!) One of my sisters has 3 ADHD boys and she hates getting them back after they have spent time with DH and I.
Roll on the 13th.....can't wait to hear the results!

Traci, I will keep you posted on what my clinic intends to do next time around. They did mention we will be doing ICSI next time. I know that I will be a bit more assertive, and, armed with the wisdom(?) gained from the first cycle, will require them to provide more detailed information from the results of bloods, scans, etc. I am a bit of a control freak I think and like to do my own research and form my own opinions (being the medical expert that I am!)

Hope everyone is taking care of themselves. Have a fantastic weekend!

Cheers

Delly & Heather,

I am so sorry to hear of your results. You both sound quite positive, which is what we all need for the next cycle.

Heather - I felt so much better after my retail therapy!!! Shoes sounds like a great idea

I am back at work now & its not as bad as I thought. A couple of people have asked where I have been - I just told them I had been sick.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Hi all you sweeties, been trying to catch up, there has been so much going on!!!!

Sand - at least your mix up was on the right end - if you'd not taken enough, that would be frustrating  I know what you mean about "well fingered bits of paper" !!!! When I had my call from Barcelona about cutting my cycle short I printed off the email they sent and had to print it off again twice as it got so tattty and things spilt on it - I kept copunting the HRT pills and then was in a state because of the bug  but all is OK in the end. We are so POTTY aren't we!!!

I am going to be using patches to stim the endo, I guess it's simpler for me as I am menopausal so no cycle to supress??? Just as well as I think sticking a patch on my bum every 4 days is about the limit of my brain power right now - I think we're all gagagagagagagagaga       but all gaga together is OK isn't it????

I'll catch up with you 2WW girlies and Mayflowers on the May threads, sorry I haven't been around much for April

Love and kisses
