you know I wouldn't be surprised..... :D

I just took another hpt as my strong cramps haven't subsided since yesterday afternoon. It was extremely quick to tell me I'm still pg....no waiting at all. DF's cousin had twin girls last month, my stepfather is a twin, a maternal cousin has ivf twins, a maternal uncle has twins somewhere (he was 18 + a sailor  ), a paternal aunt gave birth to twins (although only one survived)...there's a lot of them about!

So....how is everyone else today?

Randa. any post op effects? no pain? is there any follow up now? Can you communicate with DH? I guess Bhutan's capital Thimphu must have internet cafes? Kathmandu is FULL of email opps.

BigJ - excited? calming down? ready for your next great adventure. Try for twins please

Sharon. How do you feel? the wait DOES last for ever, or so it seems. Just one week to go. It's not uncommon to be less optimistic in the 2nd week, perfectly normal and if that happens to you, we'll back you up!

Hope everyone is feeling positive,
hugs

Bet you can't wait for that scan - shall keep everything crossed for you. From what you have just said, twins is really quite likely isn't it :?:

Hope the cramps are disappearing.

Hi WWWs,

I'm fine, except for a slight hangover today. 8)
What a day yesterday was for me!
I treated myself to a spa day. A friend that I don't get to see much anymore met me there and we got carried away!
Facial, massage and then merlot by the pool and hot tub! We talked non-stop for 4.5 HOURS! We noticed at one point that the other people at the spa weren't having nearly as much fun as we were... but our server was bringing the wine so well that we DIDN'T notice we had had 4 glasses each!
We were reminiscing about our younger, single days and cracking each other up - you know how it is. We even split a greasy cheeseburger and fries at the end of the evening - just like the ol days! :D
Anyway, sorry to ramble. I'm paying a price today, but it was worth it! 8)
Don't worry, closer to EC/ET I will be careful with the port.

Sharon! Where are you? You're way too quiet.
Debra, so glad you are staying in touch with us!
BigJ, your enthusiasm jumps off the monitor at us! Keep it coming!

Happy Saturday!

Hi girls,

I'm still here - have been reading your posts and enjoying but have been in lazy mode the last couple of days. But today we went out for the whole day to West Wales, to the coast and then to a country garden that was full of the most beautiful flowers and all we could hear in the meadow were the birds singing - it was lovely. Really helped switching off and thinking of other things.

Randa, sounds like your day out was a blast (but paying for it now??). Good for you - it has to be the best therapy, a day out with a good friend, and a few glasses of wine (you lucky girl!!!)

Debra, hope those cramps have subsided now and that you are taking it easy. Lots of love to you - you give so much to everyone else - make sure you take care too.

Hi.....

BigJ - sounds like you're an 'all or nothing' person too. You've set the bar quite high, no ciggies, no wine, no caffeine, no meds....you must have something that make it all worthwhile. I go into 'deprived' mode and eat unlikely stuff from the cupboard when I deny myself everything....

Randa - your day sounds like a blast! a great thing to do and just perfect whilst DH is still away. Like is made of moments like this, enjoy!

Sharon - your day out sounded soooooo lovely. Birds are crazy noisy round here too and the flowers are j-u-s-t thinking of appearing. I've found some tulips in the garden but they're still tightly curled.

The cramps continue, I do try to carry on as usual but it's bloody difficult. I know the uterus does all sorts of wonderful things but (hopefully) whatever is in there is still so tiny I can't imagine why I've all these pains. I suspect it is a cyst or two, never had them before so don't really know what to expect. We'll find out on 13th.

hugs to everyone
Debra

Hi WWW's

I am much better now girls, having a lot of "hot flushes" but I think thats cos it's 25 degrees and stormy outside!!!!!

Oh Randa I am so jealous!!!!!! Your day sounds so great, I haven't done that for quite a while. Did have some good girlie moments while I was with mum in the Uk though :) I have a good girl friend here who was in the clinic with me, she's great (single mum), she's decided I'll have quintruplets cos the two embies will do divisions   she does have the child from hell poor thing, she thinks that'd be dead funny if I had 5...

Sharon, restful days in the country are necessary aren't they??? that's why we live here in the middle of nowhere, nothing like nature to help the PMA and calm you down. good positive vibes are important right now!!!

D - thinking of you sweetie, waiting for the 13th. Have you spoken to them???? could you bring it forward or must you wait that long?? Have you tried resting   :?: :?:

Don't worry about me denying myself too much. I'll still let myself have the occasional treat, but I am jumping on dh to relieve my frustrations at the moment       8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

just trying to get my psoter off the ground but have creative block today. I have hands like bananas with AF anyway
