I have to email them when AF starts and first patch is on, I guess this is a signal for getting my donor revved up (bless her ). I guess latest by my scan I should know how she is doing. They are very good so if I email them they'll probably tell me. The thing is though they work with back up donors, so when Jude had her 13mm scan, they got her on a plane right away if you remember as they had the chance to go earlier...and didn't wnat to waste that yummy blood rich sticky endo (I do sound sick don't I, but that's how I think right now!!)
Just have to see I guess, going to be a long ten day wait now......shall keep myself busy looking after you!!!

If I was in your shoes, I would have to call the doctor and ask about the delay concern you have. This is no time to be confused or wondering about ANYTHING. And if they get insulted, so be it. Being friends isn't part of this deal anyway. I would just have to know. Sorry.
My clinic has made it clear that they TRY to arrange EC/ET so that the clinic gets Sundays off, but if a patient is ripe and Sunday is the best day - they roll on Sunday.
Geeze! If they want weekends/holidays off they should have picked another line of work besides medicine! Hello!

2nd EC = June 05, cancelled
3rd EC = Sept 05, 4 frosties, no transfer attempt
4th EC/ET = Feb 06, 3 transf., BFN

I had my first scan on Fri which was day 8 of stimms, and 3 follicles were the right size, but apparantly not mature, but there were about 6 that were a bit smaller so I carry on with stimms and go back tomorrow when the rest of my follicles will hopefully be the right size!
I cant wait for EC coz I'm tired and bloated really bad at the mo, hopefully EC will be soon.
Sandra - it looks like we'll be on 2ww together how many embies have you got on ice? I dont think the clinic would delay your treatment purely coz its bank holiday if it was gonna affect your outcome.
Nicola Mark - hope you are pg at the mo, that would be great so fingers crossed!

Hiya Randa. Thanks for your post ... The way BigJ explained it earlier, that FETs aren't as strict in terms of ET having to be on an exact date, has calmed me down a lot. It makes sense I suppose..... and as Susie says, they wouldn't overcook me simply because of w/e or bank hols, surely ?? It wouldn't do there stats any good ? I won't ring Randa, but I will mention it next week. Thank you for your concern sweetie - I hope you are okay ?
Susie ... I think you're right about not overcooking me - thanks. It sounds like it'll be your HCG tomorrow night then, and EC Tues ? Exciting ! Good luck !! Do you do ET 2 days later, or will it be at the weekend ? We've got 7 frosties. They'll thaw 2 on Tues night. If there's an immediate problem with one or both of them, they can thaw another/more. If something goes wrong though later / overnight, this cycle is lost. I'm dreading it. I know I won't sleep a wink on Tues !

OMG Sandra, that sounds really stressful. I hope you do manage to get some sleep on Tuesday night but if nothing else, at least you will be really tired following ET which will ensure that you get loads of rest when you need to. Good luck, I hope the first two thaw beautifully and you get the result that you want (and deserve).
Susie, good luck with your scan. I am sure there will be heaps of large, mature follies....this is probably the reason why you are feeling so uncomfortable. I think at this stage, the lousier you feel, the better! Can't wait to hear the scan results and find out when you are having EC.

How are you, and dh ? Have you decided when you're going to call the clinic ? It's strange how they all operate so differently - mine's never offered a follow up meeting. In fact a few weeks after the last cycle they rang me, and asked how I was. I was really pleased - thought they were being thoughtful .... then the nurse said she was ringing to find out my result, as I hadn't been in for the bloods ... I explained that AF had started before test date, that I'd phoned the Unit etc .... aaggghhh. They hadn't recorded it.
Well - I hope your meeting is constructive. You'll feel better when you can move forward. Take care.

Hope you are all ok. Thought i would join you all if that is ok. Been on the ,March/april buddies,but things are going so slowly now def May buddy.
Feeling really low at the mo. been on bureslin since the 13th april for my first Fet since my total freeze at the beginning of february. Still no signs of af. Went to the hospital for bloods and scan on friday and now on tablets to try and start af. Feel like been going forever already and still a long way to go. Sorry for the grumble.
As i am new over here thought I would spend some time getting to know where you aare all up to.

Well my scan went great! There are 26 follicles and 12 looked the right size, so HCG tonight at 10.30 and a day off all drugs and blood tests tomorrow then EC on Tues, but i have to phone tomorrow to find out what time EC is. I'm excited now I wont be able to sleep tuesday night either hoping my eggs fertilise, so I'll probably see you on here Sand at 4am or some stupid time like that! Its all waiting now and all 'ifs' I just hope I make it to the 2ww. Hopefully embryo transfer is on Thurs. Last time I only had 1 good embryo so I'm a bit nervous, but it does only take one, and my daughter is proof of that!

Susie .. That's great news !! You're finally cooked to perfection ! Yes - I'll meet you here about 4.00 am, Wed morning You'll feel at a loose end tomorrow - no bloods / scans / jabs ... whatever will you do with yourself ? If your HCG is 10.30 pm, EC should be around 10.30 am shouldn't it. Exciting stuff ! Good luck for Tuesday !!!
