BigJ .. We can add test dates if you REALLY REALLY REALLY want to ... but there is already a May Test thread ... and might it not get confusing ..? (doesn't need much to mash my brain at the moment)...

I just envisaged this thread as a place for the 2wwers to hang out and talk about various twinges ..?

Brilliant idea Sandra thank you very much.

Well girls where will I start..........

ET - we had transferred back 2 good graders - saw them on the screen and have fallen head over heels in love with my babies already - a handsaome bunch of cells I tell you. Hospital do not want you to be confined to bed so I just sat around watching tv and nodding off. During ET the scan of my abdomen showed one ovary still quite big but bloods and all were ok so no worries. Was advised to contact unit Monday if felt a bit more bloated.

This morning - crappy night sleep. Woke up with abdo and back pain and thought aaarrrggh why a Sat morning. Phoned clinic anyway and they wanted me to pop in for review. Scan showed some free fluid on left side of abdomen - ?????possibility of OHSS. Bloods confirmed slight OHSS. Well B*^g*r me! Sent home with blood thining injection and orders to take regular paracetamol and drink loads. To go back to unit tomorrow morning for more bloods and repeat scan on Monday - just when I thought I'd have a holiday from hospital trips.

Anyway I'm reassuring my babies to hang-on in there for the moment. The Drs aren't too concerned at this stage and will be keeping a very close eye on me over the next 2 weeks. Not quite what I was expecting but I'm not panicking....yet !

Hope everyone is behaving themselves.

Julie - glad your ET went well and hope you're having a more relaxing time than I am

Bye for now,

Oh Maci - when will all the punishment end ???? We must all have been real terrors in our previous lives ...

The good news is your 2 little babes are top graders - so they'll be strong, little fighters. Heed the drs advice and also make sure you rest. I'm afraid that the OHSS can get worse, before it gets better when baby embies settle in. Use these few days before implantation to really rest up and drink that water. I hope your bloods tomorrow show things are improving. We'll wait for your news .. Sleep tight.

Thank you so much for your reply - your post is exactly what I needed right now. Have you been thru a similar scenario?

Hope you are well.

Hi Maci ... Not as bad as you've got it, but last ET was touch and go on the day, as I felt really rough. They took my bloods and said they were willing for me to go ahead if I wanted, or would freeze. We felt that having been through so much a freeze at that stage was a total let down, so went ahead anyway ... but felt rough for days. Embies didn't take so it died down, but it was day 5 before I could straighten up.

I really feel for you. The dr told me that any OHSS wouldn't affect embies, so you're right - you've no need to worry on that score. We just need to get you better ! I hope dh is looking after you ...
