Ellie - Excellent news! Getting away at the beginning of treatment sounds good!...you will atleast be relaxed. During my first cycle, the sniffing actually made me really mellow (I am a very high strung person)...and DH thought it was fantastic...I told him last night that they doubled my sniffing and he can't wait for me to start now! The way the plan is looking (depending upon the next couple of AFs)..we will also be on holiday when starting round 2.

Ellie are you in Chicago? I was born there and went to high school in a suburb outside of Chicago. Great city - I really miss it.

Big hugs to all!

Traci - I hope the 'fine tuning' of your treatment plan works well for you this time. We go back to see Dr on 23rd May - so hopefully we will be able to have FET soon after that. Our dates will most likely be similar.

Take care

MissMolly - You are really lucky to be able to have an FET....we did not produce enough fertilized eggs to even get that far  . 23rd of May is not far away and before you know it your FE will be ready and waiting for you! How many embies were you able to freeze?

Off to second yoga class tonight, sun is shining, getting warm outside and tomorrow is my last day of work!!!! I have been eating really, really, really, really healthy - no coffee and no alcohol (well maybe a glass of wine or two on weekend)...and I really feel great!

Anyone else doing acupuncture?? I just made an appointment - geez is she busy! Can't get me in until mid-May. Also insurance will not pay for it - won't make DH very happy.

How is everyone doing??

Although I hate needles (though I managed fine doing all my injections) I am considering acupuncture. Have my follow up apt with the clinic next Friday so want to wait to be sure that they'll let have a 3rd go (fingers crossed I don't see why not). If all is well I'll have a couple of sessions, maybe either with Zita West or with another London clinic. Worth a go anyway!

Tracii,
You are doing so good, young lady!
Is work throwing you a good-bye party?
It's hard to eat healthy at those.

I got so tired of people celebrating and bringing in fattening foods at my old job that I stopped bringing anything but sugar-free gum. That's all I brought. I would put my bowl full of colorful gum on the table next to all the chips and dips, meatballs, cakes, cookies, pies, and say Happy Birthday to whomever, then walk away. It was sooooo hard to stop eating all that stuff!!!!

If it was once a month or so, it would have been different, but EVERY DAY, someone was having a pot-luck party!

Also, you know wine is good for you again. :D
I have high cholesterol and it helps LOWER it! So I have a glass almost every evening

Now that my foot fiasco is over, I am almost 100% back to my full work-out routine. The one leg I couldn't use for 8 weeks had turned to jello. It's being stubborn.

Dancola and Tracii, I'm also considering accupuncture. My dh does it for his baseball injuries (he plays serious amateur ball) and says it really helps. So many girls on here are doing it and it's been around since dirt, so there must be something to it.

Hi Ellie, Little P and Miss Molly (hope I didn't miss anyone  )! Roll on June/July!!!!!!

Hi Randa - Luckily for me..we are having a small good bye party...me and another collegue (she is preggers!) are bringing in stuff for brunch..nothing big...I hate attention focused on me...and there are people at work who have been very 'political/cruel/no heart...' in the past so I would prefer not to invite them...so therefore very small get together. I have been doing lots of lunch dates with the colleagues I like - eating lots! Tonight will celebrate with DH and have some wine or maybe champagne :!: (I deserve it!).

I agree acunpuncture can't hurt - and I only hear positive things so why not? My first appoinment is 13th May. She said she likes to have IVF patients a couple of months before treatment...so pretty good timing.

Yoga last night was great! The teacher is a friend of mine who knows our issues with trying to get preggers....so she really focused on the chakra (forgot the name) which helps with eggs, ovaries...associated with the color orange.

Randa - take time healing your leg...the strength will come back - I read that muscles 'remember' and with time you will be 100%. Maybe acunpuncture can help there too.

Off to my last day! YIPPPEEE!

Have a super duper good day :D

Yay Traci, I hope your last day was a blast!!

Well, I did my bloods today and now have a very positive negative. The clinic seemed to be more upset than me....very strange...I think I knew what my body was up to but they failed to believe it.

Anyway, I am looking forward (as much as you can) to my next treatment and I feel much more positive going into round two. I am looking forward to a weekend of total decadence prior to beginning preparation for my next treatment...making sure I have a few quiet wines, some coffee, etc.

I hope you are all keeping well.

Cheers
Heather
