Hi! Newbie from MA - IVF ICSI

Hi everyone hoping to connect with folks considering the last post I joined i didn't get a large response.....My husband and I have a male factor and tried ICSI a couple years ago (Lupron Protocol), unfortunately it didn't take and I had I guess you could say a melt down! However on our second ICSI with a different protocol (Clomid, Repronex, Follistim, Antagon) and I find out the results of our transfer on thursday!!! The waiiting is really tough, but worth it for good news.....However my Progesterone levels measured on thurs were at 39 ng/ml which they told me is really good.....Anyone else had anything similar or similar experience???

Hi there Jamato. Welcome to the site. Well, you'll certainly get a response on here ! The boards are particularly busy at the moment. The General Forum is the busiest, and where most folk in treatment / planning treatment post.

If you pop over there you'll see there's a May cycle thread, where everyone who is going through / hoping to go thru tmt during May hang out. There's also a May Test Date thread. If you give Little P the okay, she'll add your test date to the list on this thread. The May 2ww thread is where girls who have had ET can discuss various aches, pains and twinges... and go slowly insane together !

Well, you've had some good news so far then with your blood levels. That's reassuring and should spur you on for the next few days ! Most girls don't get that interim test. Good luck for Thursday, and see you over on the General ..!

Hi, I can't comment on the 39 as like Sandra said, mid-w2ww tests aren't done here (Norway). That said, it sounds good. Did the clinic give you any indication as to what was 'normal' at this stage with that test? Are any of your meds likely to affect that reading?

Either way, not long to go now. Just a few more days, although they can be mighty slow when you can't wait to get there

Hi there Lisa. There's lots of sound information and experience on these boards. I think the best advice for you at the moment is to be as clued up as possible before your tmt starts. That way you'll feel more in control. We recommend reading Zita West's book "Fertility and Conception" which explains how to maximize your chances of a successful pregnancy, and includes a chapter on assisted conception.

Come over to the General Forum, where most girls post. You'll see that girls are clumped together in months, depending on when they hope their tmt to start. So, if you post on the June cycle buddies thread you'll be amongst girls who'll be in tmt around the same time as you. They're a friendly bunch !
