Hello, i was just wondering about something I read on this forum. I didnt have an hcg injection with my FET (which has just failed) is this usual? All I was taking was the oestrodiol and the progesterone pessaries and there is no mention of hcg in my FET pamphlet,<br>bye bye Annie<br>

Hi Annie<br><br>Not sure if I know the answer as I am just starting my ist go at FET. My plan says that I will contine with oestrogen tablets and progesterone injections every day after ET and not HCG. I guess it depends on the hospital.<br><br>Feelong really yucky at the moment - had Prostap and gave got really bad headaches and feeling very tired. Thanks Michelle,<br>I felt a little better once i started the oestrogen tablets, on the headache front. I'll be asking about hcg with FET when I next have an appointment,so Ill post any info that I get up here. Hope it goes well for you<br>bye bye Annie

Hello Annie<br><br>Sorry to hear your FET failed this time, I know how awful that is.<br><br>I had FET on Mon 28th Oct - had an HGC injection that day and then another one on the saturday. Am now pg THANK GOD!!! Doubt if it had much to do with the injection though.<br><br>I think as Michelle said, different clinics do things differently. If you're at all worried, phone them and ask them, tell them to explain the different effects of the different drugs given and why they use their one over the HCG, don't stew on it.<br><br>Good Luck<br><br>Sarah x
