Hello All

I had my second blood test this morning (had one on Monday that was positive, but they wanted to do another one today). Don't get the results until 3 and after reading about biochemical pregnancy and weak positives am now really worried.

Wish 3o'clock could be here now. Luckily am at work today so time should go a bit quicker than if at home.

ooohhhhhhhh I just hate all this uncertainty and waiting around!!

Sarah
Hi Sarah - try not to worry (easier said than done I know). I had a bio-chemical pregnancy last time around but I'd started bleeding before I tested so to be honest was surprised to get a positive result at all, and really knew from the beginning that it wasn't going to work out. Let us know how you get on.

Alison x
Hi Sarah
I am so so sorry I have given you more worry by talking about my low positve etc.Did they say why they wanted another blood test? When I had my daughter ( FET ) 3 years ago follow up blood tests were done as a routine to monitor the increasing hcg levels. This may be the case with your clinic. Good luck. Thinking of you
Frances
Hello Frances

Don't worry, my overactive imagination has dreamt up all sorts of things!!

They said the second blood test was routine but my suspisious mind just doesn't believe them!! Will find out in 40 mins COME ONNNNNNNN CLOCK

Thanks for your concern, but honestly, don't worry. Am feeling positive and have had no bad signs so fingers crossed, all will be well.

Love Sarah )
Hi Sarah - I'm worried that we've not heard from you. Have you heard? Is everything OK? Thinking of you and desperately hoping all is well.

Love

Alison
Hello All

Sorry for the delay, had a hectic afternoon!!

Blood test results showed that my progesterone levels had dropped so they want me to have a progesterone injection daily now up until twelve weeks, apparently you need progesterone to maintain the pregnancy, so had to rush to the clinic and get stuck in loads of traffic to pick up my prescription and then find a late opening chemist to give me the drugs. Nightmare!!

Apart from that, all is well, the rest of the levels were fine and they say there is nothing to worry about (although will be frantically searching for info now!).

Thanks for all you support guys, it's nice to know people care.

Love Sarah x

PS - scan is booked for 10th December because my consultant is on holiday for 3 weeks!! Far too long to wait!!! Will be nearly 10 weeks by then!
Glad to hear that everything is fine. My projesterone was also a bit low so I have to take 3 pessaries a day. A small price to pay if everything is alright.
