Kagome, sorry to hear you have to abandon so far on. you must be so disapointed, your doctors know what they are doing, listen to your body it is probablly saying hang on a minute I need a rest before I embark on the most wonderful thing I am designed for. It may not seem like it now but June and July will be here before you know it and your body will be well rested and ready to go. Good luck x

Nicki - you sound so happy, I can feel the positive vibes from here - keep them up girls. About the jeans - I always go up about 2 dress sizes when on treatment, however it didn't stop me buying a pair of jeans and a dress today  that'll teach DH to go away for a few days lol.

I like the post it idea, I need to do the same, maybe we could get them on prescription????

Hope you are feeling ok little p. take it easy.

It's only saturday, don't start sniffing until mon but have excited butterflies in my tummy already - good to be positive from the start!!!

Waiting for all your news x

Thought it was time to goin the MAy buddies. As I have already started treatment and am due for EC on 30th May - if all goes well.

I can't belive how many issues we all have to face during tmt. I have already had delayed periods which effected the start of my treatment and possible problems with ovulation, which may effect how well my overies respond to treatment.

But it is great to be on the tmt road as I now have something possitive to focus upon. I know I still have many hurdles to cross and a lot more issues to deal with, but I know with the great people on this site I am sure to get through it all and hopefully will benefit from others experiences.

I am currently trying to decide whether or not to work during my 2ww - a bit premature I know but it is something that is playing on my mind.

I'm sending good vibes to you all as I know we all need them - lots of baby dust too!

Hi Jaqui ... Good to see you on this thread - starting a cycle is so exciting. As you say, it's just one hurdle after another. I wish you a smooth and succesful tmt, and hope EC comes along on 30th as planned..

Working over the 2ww is often debated, but personally I feel better taking the time off. I don't take time off for any other reason (even when I'm ill !) so I feel I'm owed it, and I owe it to myself.

Good luck !

hi Jaquie. great to have you here. it's wonderful to have a ste to focus on for EC.. i assume then that everything is looking good for you so far. hurray. looking forward to hearing about more of your progress.

i agree with sandra re 2ww. i just dont think there are any hard and fast rules. depends really on how well you think you can cope at work.. i know many say that it keeps them sane during the whole wait. i didnt do much work through the last and wont this time either. in fact i'm going to make sure i have a couple of days lying in front of the tv and doing nothing, which i failed to do last time..i am a fidget! not sure of my dates yet, but by my reckoning, a few days after ET we will be flying to Cork for dh's 40th party so i need to get some rest before that!!

best of luck.

Hi fellow Mayflowers

Kagome, so sorry your cycle is abandoned sweetie, you must feel like puffed up pooh  Glad you can start cycling again so soon though, you'll be in the Jelly Beans then

Any one heard from LP about her hysteroscopy today???

Hey Niki, good to get the scan date, it helps having little milestones doesn't it? So glad you are feeling better my little donor buddy {{{{hug}}}}

Hey Rita, I started with post-it's all over the place, now I try and keep up and have a note book/diary by the PC.....confessions of an over 40

We are just waiting for the scan on Tuesday, as this will determine a lot when we go for ET, hopefully we'll know some time during Tuesday/early Wednesday. WE are planning to spend a bit longer in Barcelona this time, to have a day of rest befoe flying back. I know how you feel Minnow, but I can't really do the 2ww in Barcelona although saying that......  and the jeans, well already gone up one size after giving up smoking 2 months ago, hoping healthy living will keep it stable for a bit! luckily so far no extra weight gone on with the patches, had already put some on with the HRT......had a cream and jam scone today yum yum

will get on the the poster tomorrow ...

Love and kisses to all Mayflowers and welcome to those of you just joined

Well, I am on schedule for EC this Tuesday and ET on Friday. Right now I plan to work during the 2ww because it will keep me preoccupied and less worried, but I think that is really up to the individual and how you feel.

Eskavon - How did everything go for you?

Best wishes and smiles to everyone.

Sorry I've just realised how completely selfish that post was :(

I haven't asked how you all are - I do hope that everyone is well and having a good weekend.

I promise I will be more supportive and back to normal tomorrow. Let's put it down to the drugs

Well I had another scan today, and I went from 15 follicles at 8mm (wednesday) to so many they couldn't count them all! My nurse said it looked to be about 30 to 35!
They measured in at 15 and 16 mm... So my nurse informed me that I will be taking my trigger shot at 6:30 am on monday morning and have ec on Tuesday at 6:30 pm. Since I am having ZIFT, I will have et on wednesday at 5:30! I am so excited I can barely contain myself, but then again, I feel so scared!

I am sending my positive vibes to each and every one of you!

Jenna ... That's an enormous number of follies ! Let's hope you have an ample number of embies from that bunch. You're right, it is an exciting time. All the work you've put in over the last few weeks will be realised on Tues !! Best of luck Jenna for EC. We'll all be thinking of you. You've only got a very short time between EC and ET so it's important that you rest as much as possible at that point. Your body's been through a lot, and needs to recover.
