Hi there

Big J - sorry that the patches are really starting to kick in now :( Guess that means they are working, but I'm sending you huge hugs and PMA anyway. :) I am sure that George will always be ready, willing and able to offer a hug of support :D

Randa - good to see you back - glad you are ok and that things are ticking along nice for you.

Alette and Caroline - I hope that your pregnancies carry on as smoothly as possible. I do hope that you are both well.

PMA to you all.

Hi Big J and girls

Thanks to everyone for a warm welcome.

Have been trying to stay in bed for the last 3 days. Been quite sore and I have had a bit of a cold too.

Had 2 fab embies put back in.

I'm worried about the bad coughing fit I had last night. Lasted about 1 hour. Worried about the embies :(

Big J - Sounds like your hormones are on overtime. Well at least you know you can come on here and rant as much as you want. I've been caught off guard a couple of times at work and my hormone fuelled emotions were not a pretty sight

Hi Suz ... Glad ET went to plan !! Well done !! I know what you mean about coughing ... I've been sneezing, and been trying to do it kind of curled up, so as to put (hopefully ?) less pressure on my stomach. Oh, it could drive you crazy !!

Come and join us on the 2ww thread when you're up to it (if you haven't already done so - I haven't caught up on all the threads yet).

Big J

How are things going - it's not long till your scan is it.

How are you coping with the patches - have the hormones started to make an appearance :?

Finally, last question, did you get your poster done?

Hugs and love

Hi again Suz

glad to get you on this thread, it was getting a bit lonely here, but now the joint is jumping again. I am sure your embies are nicely tucked up for the night  You could try singing to them like Sand did

Hi LP, yes hormones are in abundance now   thank God dh is an angel

Poster is done , not my best work, but it does the job. I prefer to be proud of things I do but commissions are always hard if they are "concrete" and I can't abstract them. I'll probably have to re-work it a bit after it's been presented.

scan tomorrow OMG  keep thinking I should run round the flat to get the blood supply going

You'll do well tomorrow - from the sounds of those hormones, they've probably scared the endo elf into action. Let's face it would you argue with a hormonal woman

Fingers crossed for you and looking forward to hearing what happens next.

Hi BigJ

Hope your scan went ok.

I won't be singing to my embies. Not only because I have a cold at the moment, but I don't want to scare them off

Hi Suz, BigJ and Sharon (have I missed someone?),
Are we the current "over 40ies" who are cycling?
Please forgive if I'm missing someone as I've been traveling and having a hard time keeping up.
I MISS MY HUSBAND!!!! Finally got word from him. His trek is finished and he is safely back in the capitol of Bhutan. Whew! Apparently there was a snow storm that hit right as they were in the Himilayas. Touch and go for a while, but he and his group made it out okay.
Bad news is it will delay his getting back to Seattle. It was all I could do to hang on til the 12th and now I might have to wait even longer - ugh!
Now that I'm back home, I've started wearing his shirts. Closest thing to a hug from him I can get, I guess.
Sooooo glad to be home. What a month!
So, am I correct that Suz and Sharon are in the 2ww?
Please tell me if I'm wrong. What's our over-40 status?

Where's everyone gone?? :?

Hi Randa

You life sounds so exciting. Sorry you're missing DH. Wearing his shirts is a lovely idea.

Good news about your treatment

I'm on the 2ww. I test on the 23rd. We have to do a hpt. I'm not getting any symptoms bar sore boobs now. I'm taking things easy but I'll probably be a wreck this time next week.

Hi all oldies, I'm here!!!

We had 3 embies transferred this morning     feeling great so far, not very good at bed rest though, dh keeps making me sit down, that's why I am here

Glad you are still going strong Suz, and hope you are managing without dh Randa

Just thinking of Jude's twins in keeping me going now, although of course just to see a positive test would be a miracle. We'll get a report next week from the lab to see why only 3 eggs fertilised from 12, we decided if we have to go again will do cycle with fresh sperm. Lets hope we wont have to....

Hve joined the 2ww ers now

Love and kisses

Great news on your transfer - theres a nice warm place for you on the 'other side' so surround yourself with baby dust. Try to relax, not be obsessed with AF symptons and try to enjoy these 2 weeks.

I talked to my embryos everyday after my transfer just to make sure they new how important it was to do as their were told from an early age -it cant to any harm!

Good luck
