Pauline

I hope that things get better for you and you feel more like your old self soon.

Good luck at the scan and I hope you see loads and loads of follicles - sending the follie fairy your way :D

I hope that yesterday's EC went well and you are getting plenty of rest. Really looking forward to hearing how it all went.

PMA and hugs.

Oh Pauline ... You don't need flu symptoms on top of everything else ... I wonder if it's a side effect of the drugs, or if you're coming down with something ..?? Lemon and hot water won't do any harm either way ... Good luck for your scan tomorrow.

hi all.
Jenna - am really sorry to hear that you've over stimulated. how disappointing. with any luck the next couple of months will whizz by and you'll be in tip top form physically to continue.

Big J and Little P - you both sound as though things are going well, although i know that Little p has to wait for another phonecall yet... fingers tightly crossed for both of you.

Pauline - sounds yuck. i hope you get a chance to rest and just keep your strength. hopefully that first scan will make up for feeling rubbish when you see how hard at work your body has been!

i'm following all the rest of you too...keep us posted.

I am now on day 8 of downregging. had a particularly flouncy fit on sat/sun but was able to laugh even as it was happening!.. no other real side effects to worry about. am eagerly awaiting AF so that i can get going on the next bit. seem to remember it came 8 days after starting to sniff last time, but aside from a few draggy feelings which have been on and off for days..no sign yet!!

my main news is that a move we had planned is coming forward massively. over the last few weeks we have decided to move to Cork were my dh is originally from. we go over frequently and it just seems to be a great idea. the plan was to go next april so that he could give 12 months notice. this week he has announced he may finish work at the end of june!!! so it's looking like he will go over in july to do some work and i will follow permanently in september when i've got things sorted here. i work from home so i will be able to divide my time until then. i know i cant put pressure on myself but i cant help hoping that the ivf works this time or i may have to come back to england for further tmts. i'm not sure what is available in rep of ireland or what the results are like, but maybe from our vast pool of knowledge someone will know. so..all in all, very exciting but such a lot to do!

take care all.

Sounds like an awful lot will be happening. Stay positive and focused on you and the treatment and fingers crossed there will be 3 (or more :D ) of you moving to Ireland very soon!!

I hope that AF puts in an appearance very soon and you can move to the next stage of the treatment.

Good luck and tons of PMA to you.

Minnow .. This is exciting news indeed !! As Little P says though, your tmt is the most important thing at the moment. Downregging seems to last forever ... hope AF makes an appearance soon so you can move to next stage ..

Hi,

Hope everyone is doing OK. The paranoia is starting to kick in, I'm on day 6 of stimming and are staring to get very bloated and uncomfortable no sharp pains just dull ache both right and left. Is this normal I can't remember it being this bad last time but only produced 9 follies then just hoping I'm developing cysts but i did have them last time.

Anyone any advice.

Cheers,

Jane

Ladies, thank you for all the good wishes and sorry its taken a while to update you.
EC went fine yesterday we only got 4 eggs but we had worse to come. My DH has tested well on all three of his tests but yesterday they said the sample was very weak combined with very delicate eggs. We were shell shocked (pardon the pun!). The eggs were too delicate for ICSI but the sperm may not be strong enough to swim. Last 24 hrs have been hideous but we got a call this morning to say that one egg had fertilised. Still not out of the woods need to see how it splits and if ok will have ET tomorrow am.
will keep you posted, take care all you blooming mayflowers!
lots of love

Oh sweetie I am so sorry, but as Susie says you do only need the one to get there.

Sending your little embie loads of PMA, hugs and Baby Dust.

Get plenty of R&R and look after yourself.

Hi Jane - the last time I stimmed I started feeling really bloated from day 5. Jane, pls don't torture yourself ... You had your baseline scan last week, so cysts aren't likely. If you can't remember this happening last time odds are that your going to produce more follies this time ..?? I know it's easy for me to say, but think positive ..!!

Eskavon ... I'm sorry it hasn't worked out quite the way you'd hoped for, but your little embi must be a little fighter to have made it so far against the odds .... Will you get an update this afternoon, or do you have to ring them in the morning ?? Either way, I know you're not going to get any sleep tonight. Thinking of you both ..
