confused myself

Hi I have read and reread all of the notes so many times and all of the posts that I am now completely confused on 2 things; 1. when does the 2ww start from? from the day of fertilization or the day of et? I have et yesterday so am I on day 2 of 2ww or day 3 of 2ww? 2. If we were to be lucky and things are to work how do you work out a due date? dh and I were dreaming away and then thought..but when would it all happen? Do you count from the start of dr or the first day of AF whilst on dr? Would love to know what your thoughts are.. Perhaps its the hormones making me go mad! Love Becky B

Becky Answer to your questions 1. The dreaded 2ww - you count the day of your e/t as day 1, so as of 17/11 you are on day2 (i think!!) 2. From my pregnancy book if you had you et yesterday and you were to go full term your due date would be around - 24 August 2003 GOOD LUCK - any more questions? LOVE DEBSx

Another thing with these "$%£@~@ pessaries is every time I put one in in the morning within..30 minutes I need a pooh! I have been told that as long as you can hold on for 1.5 hours things will be ok..worried tho' as have to run at 1 hour 31 minutes to the loo and pooh is white!! - sorry to repulse you all..but who else can I ask? I would hate it all to fail just because of bodies bad timing.. tried to use the front door last night but still so sore from ec.. love becky B

hi becky i used the front door for the whole 2ww.did fel weird at first but after a few day i was ok.i put mine just b4 bed..........phone your clinic about this problem your having..........remember some clinics dont even use the horrid pessaries. good luck hunnie beck x

Hi Becky I too am confused on the issue of the 2ww. I have e/c on the 8th and e/t on the 11th. But my test is the 22nd - which is 2 weeks after e/c, not e/t?!!! Seems everyone has something different? Are you having any pains? I just constantly feel like I am about to start my af....hopefully this is a good sign! Good luck and take care of yourself. Becky If I was you stick with the pesseries as horrible as they are as I personally think these help in the 2ww as I had 2 injections around et and I got a big fat negative. Tina My hospital counted 2 weeks after ec and then they did my preg test, so the 22nd would be right as your eggs are then 2 weeks old and a test can then be done. With reagrds to pains I had slight lower stomach and back pains in 2ww but not the extent that some people talk about, so I think pains are a good sign.GOOD LUCK TO BOTH OF YOU IN 2WW Love Debsx

Hi Becky I had the awful pessaries up the bum and needed the loo after too. The clinic said they only take 15 minutes to dissolve, but I would try and go first and then stick a pessary up afterwards. If not, I tried to wait for an hour. I remember those awful pessaries so well, sticking them up the bum was awful. Good luck on your 2ww. Lots of love Louise XXX
