Hi there

I have been lurking for months and reading everything you ladies have been going through and I have decided to join in.

I am in the middle of my 6th ICSI treatment and feeling pretty nervous. I have been through so much over the years and I am desparate to be a Mummy.

It seems like there is a lot of commeraderie (sp? ) on here but I'm a bit concerned about joining in as some posts have suggested a bit of bad feeling as well. I hope it's all sorted now?

I went for my first scan yesterday, day 8 of stimms and I have 25 follicles already My levels are 8000 as well! Mind you my levels have reached 34,000 before when I had OHSS so 8000 seems low for now. My EC is scheduled for the 16th.

Hi there Empty-Belly - Welcome to the Site. I'm sure you will find lots of reassurance and support here.

Gosh - 25 follies already ! Do you know what sizes they are ? Will you have another scan on Fri/Sat before EC on Mon ?

If you've been lurking, you'll know how the forum works.... Come and join us on the May cycle buddies thread - otherwise known as the Mayflowers. Then when you've had ET, if you wish Little P will add your test date to the Test Date thread (it'll be June by then !!), and you can join the May 2ww-ers.

I'm glad you've decided to join in with us. It sounds like you have had a really hard time of it, I hope that this treatment brings you the result that you so desperately want.

If you feel ready to, there's a thread for all of us girls going through the treatment in May - we're called The Blooming Mayflowers. It would be great if you would come and join in there.

I would just like to reassure you that there is no hard feeling here - so please don't stay away.

I'm a Mayflower crossing over to a JuJu Jelly Baby as my treatment doesn't actually start until Monday, then finishes in June.

25 follicles sounds impressive to me, and just think you've still got time to grow some more

I'm running a test dates thread for May - would you like me to add your name to the list?

I wish you loads and loads of success with this treatment and send you tons of PMA and hugs.

Wow what a lovely quick responses

They did measure my follies. Most of them were about 7mm-11mm but there were a few at 14mm and two at 17mm!! I thought they were cysts! but they reassured me they were follicles. I have to have bloods done every day now until EC I will have a scan tomorrow and probably Saturday. I'm used to it as all my tmt's have been like this.

LittleP - I'm quite supersticious as you can imagine after 5 treatments I have learnt never to take anything for granted and I take one day at a time so getting to EC is my first goal. My 2nd will be getting to ET and then I can think about test day (God I hate that thought the 2ww and testing ) So I think I'll hold off putting my name on any lists just yet. Call me old fashioned but I get really twitchy seeing my name somewhere, even if it's just a login name

I have posted on the May thread as well. I like the thought of being a Mayflower! The name JuJu Jelly baby makes me laugh

Hello and welcome to the site! I just joined in a few days ago and have already received many well wishes.
Best of luck to you on hopefully the last time. I am on my 2nd try (1st one was cancelled) during the 2ww. Hopefully this will be my last as well as I didn't get any to freeze. So hopefully what they transferred back will implant. At least one, I hope!

Thanks for your reply. I hope this will be my last tmt too as I have had to have all fresh cycles. We have never had any to freeze either which really upsets me I have lost so many potential babies when we have to let the embies perish plus it's costing us a flipping fortune!!

I hope that this will be your time as well! Why was your last tmt cancelled if you don't mind me asking? It must be such a blow. Best of luck and keep up the positive thinking!

Hi again! My first time was cancelled because my follicles over stimulated by day 7. This basically means I ovulated too early. I have a posting that kind of explains my story. It says *NEW HERE* on 2ww. You read what I have been through so far.
I can't image how much it is costing you. I know how much I have spent and I have only done it 1.5 times. I don't think we could afford to do it that much. I'm not even sure if we will do it again. If we do it will have to be a little while.

Welcome once again. It sounds as if you are a definite veteran on these things so you'll have a lot to share with all the guys here... Hope all turns out well for you this time.

I really admire your spirit, taking one day at a time, step by step, i'm sure it's not an easy thing to do so if you want to tell us how you do it, shoot! I'm terrible with that and haven't even gone through any sort of tmt.

you should get a ticker then!

If you want to you can always post on the introduction forum about yourself. That way it is easier not to lose track of all the people here.
