Worried first timer injecting burserelin

This probably sounds very silly to you all, but I injected with Burserelin tonight for the first time. I now have a nice red mark with a hard lump in the middle, is this normal? love Chrissi

Hi Chrissi Totally normal. Probably itched a bit as well. When you've injected give it a good rub to dispurse the liquid that causes the lump, sometimes helps. Happy stabbing Good Luck Terri xx

Hi Chrissi Yep had the same - got dh to inject for me as I found I couldn't get a straight line in and out. Are you using the pen style injections? Good luck Lissa x

Thanks Terri and Lissa for putting my mind at rest. As you suggest Terri I will give it a good rub when I inject again this evening. Lissa - I am using a syringe not the pen style - I have to measure the burserelin into the syringe .5mm and inject into my tummy. I guess this will all get easier with time. Hi Chrissi It is normal what you're feeling after your jab. I was injecting my tummy with buserelin using a normal syringe like you and the patch was always red, itchy with a bit of a lump afterwards. All I can say is, it does get easier after you've done a few! Good luck, Rachel X
