Kappy and Barny

Just wanted to see how you girls were. You were both very supportive of me last month when I had first iui. Hope pregnancies are going well and you are taking care of yourselves :) :)

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for thinking of me.
I had my baby boy, Joe, on 25th April - 3 weeks early! Weighed in at a healthy 6lb 8oz. He's just fine and gorgeous. :D
I'm still recovering from the episiotomy and the haemorrhoids but it's a small price to pay for the precious little fella.

How are you doing? Have you and DH decided on what the next step is? Will you try IUI again?

Love Barny

Hi Lisa,
I've been under the weather the past couple days with a miserable cold, but my little girl is doing well (thank goodness I'm at the point were I can feel her moving =). Thank you for thinking of us!

Hope you and DH are doing well. Please keep in touch and let me know how your progressing with treatment options. I'll keep an eye out for you as well. Keep thinking positive!

Barney ... congrats on your new little boy! You must be over the moon! Sounds like everyone's home and healthy. Can't wish for better than that =)

Hugs,
Kelly

Wow, what a lovely surpirise Barny, congratulations on the birth of Joe ( that's one of boy names I've chosen!). I am so pleased for you. I expect you are very busy now and spending some sleepless nights but I know he will be well worth it. Many many good wishes to you and DH. :D :D :D

Kappy, glad to hear all is well with you. I bet it was a strange sensation when you first felt your baby move.
:D
We've got follow up appointment on 24th May but we don't think we'll try again til October, not decided whether we'll go for another iui or ivf. We will see what doc says. I can't wait til i'm at the stages you two are at now.
One day, I know it will happen one day !

Take care, love Lisa xxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks Lisa. We are definitely getting a lot of sleepless nights but yes, he is worth it.

Hope your next appt goes ok. Let us know how you get on.

I so admire your attitude. I used to get quite jealous of women, even those on this site, who were pregnant. It is so easy to be pessimistic and get bitter and twisted, but you have to stay positive. You are a strong and generous person to take the time to check on me and Kappy and be happy for us. I know that one day you and DH will get your dream.

Love Barny

Thanks Barny
I have always got excited about babies and children, guess that's why I like teaching so much. Sometimes I much prefer talking to kids than adults! Every time I hear about people getting pregnant and having kids I do feel a pang of jealousy. At one point even going to the Asda was stressful cos I kept seeing pregnant women every where! Things are easier at the moment which i think is partly cos of this site and partly cos we've started having treatment which feels like things are moving in the right direction. I hardly ever read on this board but you and Kappy were really kind and if it's worked for you there's no reason why it won't work for me.
Take care of yourselves and Joe, let me know how he's doing.
